First the Sex Pistols in Ferry Maat's Disco Circus, and then this. I was 12.... Made an impact that is hard to describe, life changing really, had my 13th birthday soon after this and got my first turntable, had enough to buy 4 albums, Iggy Pop's Lust For Life, the Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks, The Stranglers No More Heroes and a Dutch album called Geef Voor New Wave, the rest is history :) If I remember correctly there was even a special session in the government to discuss this performance and it's "devastating effect on us youngsters" :) Iggy came back in the Top Pop studio some time later and they begged him to not repeat his performance and all he did was quietly stare into the camera the whole song, might have been Some Weird Sin.... Great times.... Rotterdam.... Peter Graute's incredible record shop Backstreet Records, and the Fantastic Visions store that specialized in science fiction books and comics were also selling punk lp's and paraphernalia (since many years Yendor, they sell comic books), the old Eksit and Kaasee for punk concerts, bands like the Rondos, Bunker, Tandstickorshocks, Kotx and so much more.... Playing drums in bands myself.... Great times, crazy times.....

Thank you so very much for bringing this video to us. I was blessed to be at this concert like others below. March 14, 1977 at Seneca College's Field House. At age 20, I was a bit "old" side I guess. I was also totally inexperienced as it was my second live concert. (First one was David Bowie's Isolar tour (Station to Station) the previous year.) Iggy turned 77 just three days ago. He is most interesting to listen to in interviews. There's no one else like him. The mold was broken when he was made. Best wishes.
