Do you find the carb is very close to the engine valve cover? I have done the same and raised my intake manifold with one of the plastic carb spacers. I just thought that the carb was so close it might cause problems with the heat, The supplied Lifan inlet manifold was much to long and hit the frame with the carb installed.

I used the original Honda intake manifold which if I remember rightly included the black spacer

great fun, doesnt matter what you are on if you are with like minded friends.... we hire moped and explore greek island on holiday.... nice and slow you cannot beat it..the sense of adventure and carefree fun...

Happy days, I feel this is where these bikes excel. Had 1 back in the mid 80s rode it from Sydney to Adelaide and back and everywhere around Sydney. Such a great machine. Would love another one!

Very successful trip… Interesting to know how many days to cover the distance, average miles per day and the negatives if any, was it a mix of 50/90s or 125s..

All Lifan 110’s apart from. One Lifan 125.. 7 days averaging 200 miles per day…

Yes, nearly 10k miles done. Oil changed every 1000 miles.

@@Reargunner1275 is better to change the oil every 600 miles or 1000 km I have this engine 10+ years no problem at all

One guy had a 125cc, the rest of us had Lifan 110cc engines with 4 speeds. They just make it a bit easier on the hills but no faster in a straight line..

And here I am in the states .. so jealous of your bikes and country roads... I bought a 1969 super cub 90...cm91 Missouri to Alaska? I'm 62 ..I'd love to try it on a super cub

If Carlsberg made bikes! Its just a nice trip on a GS. But it’s an heroic epic adventure on a cub! Big respect. I am hoping to do it on my Varadero 125 soon.
