Bell ringing may have evolved in the Anglican church but has little to do with worship. Most ringers are not even church goers. It is an interesting hobby There are a few ringers from non anglo saxon backgrounds but would like it to be seen as a multicultural hobby The stereotype of ringers is unfounded Campanolology should not be seen as faith or raced based Im mot sporty, i cant umderstand why people play golf and why the big deal of putting a ball in a hole, but I simply realise its not for me. Ringing is the same i suppose yet its for me.
