I’m 23, I used to drink a 750ml bottle of Hennessy a day, for about 2 years, then I stopped feeling the tip sines and it had gotten boring to me, so I started drinking a third of a bottle daily, now I caught a dealing charge and require to stay clean, if it wasn’t for the help of my family I wouldn’t be quitting, if you have help like that it’s amazing and you should really appreciate it, for the ones who don’t have help please get some, the people who run these programs are there for a reason not to just be paid goodluck to you all, I honestly don’t even want to drink again after my program is over

Ive taken acid easily over 100 times as a teenager. Ive seen people permanently melt their brain after doing it a few times. Slight flashbacks aka curtains breathing and similar other things happen randomly. I last dropped acid 30 years ago. My mind is very warped.

Best decision I ever made was going on methadone, clean for 4 years, mainly because of the accountability of having to show up everyday to dose and have to check in with your consoler every week. Biggest reason suboxone never worked for me was bc the percipitated withdrawal, you gotta be in full blown withdrawal before starting it and if you relapse chances are you just aren’t taking your subs again, unlike methadone which can be taken immediately, and basically does the same thing of making opioids not really as effective, therefore you slip up realize shit isn’t gonna happen and you keep taking your dose. Both medications are lifesaving though and I respect every single one of you who got clean, no one should have to go cold turkey. I tapered all the way down after 4 years and will be off methadone next month :)
