You video is great because you've demonstrated what I've been trying to do but still working on it. I'm using Edge and Tacx as well but older version (520 and Neo1). I tried to follow your steps with my 520 but when I select "Training" then have options like Course, Strava Live Segments, Workouts, Training Calendar, Indoor Trainer, etc. Since no Smart Trainer option so I selected Indoor Trainer > Follow a Course and pick one virtual ride I downloaded (PS I can see the Course map from screen before I started the virtual ride). The virtual ride was fine but for some reason I can only see the elevation view but never be able to have a map view like you could show the route you are riding and heading. When completed the ride I can see the result from apps, both Garmin and Strava, with all readings but only missing the map. I'm not sure if it's the limitation from 520 or some steps I miss out to show the virtual GPS map. Any idea will be great thanks :)

You did it right! That’s just the limitation on the 520, instead of showing the map, it just shows elevation unfortunately. An excuse for you to get newer 540 🤭 or 1050 😂

The worse Garmin I have ever owned!!! Has issues with gradients, two weeks and only unproductive activities(took a 14 day offseason break and now started my base training and only unproductive… 225w at 135 bpm as unproductive saying my fitness is dropping… shit 💩 product and 50€ more expensive then prior generation 30 series. DONT BUY THIS SHITTY GARMIN
