Extreem droge interpretatie van Bach zonder enige muzikaliteit. Debetrekeningen niets meer.

Is dit een voor een linkshandige omgebouwde gamba, of is het beeld gespiegeld?

Seems so, but that doesn't make any sense, because with normal string instruments you need in your left hand much more fine motor skills anyway. So rather a pronounced right-handed instrument...

Yes, i'm left hand and i'm using an "inverted" instrument

@@trabouliste1037 it seems so at first sight but the bow has much more misteries than we can immagine...the "good hand" should absolutely be used for the bow (in my case left). That's the soul of the sound, the soul of my instrument...the other hand just pressure notes...

@@stultiferanavis5919 I am not convinced at all. I was absolutely balanced both handed as a child (and became only right handed in writing by preference with „education“). And the left hand movements are absolutely more challenging for me, while I am playing the cello.

@@trabouliste1037 interesting point of view...i really believe that we can do everything with the two hands equally if you practice..but once i do everything with left hand in my daily life like using the fork to eat, using the toothbrush to wash my teeths, using the left hand to open things with key, if i need to react in a self defense moviment i use my left hand..etc...all of this moviments make that this hand is more easily used for detailed moviments in our instrument. It is very interesting that you as a cellist think that the hand used for fingerboard has more need of detailed moviments. I can tell you that my first instrument, before i've started studying viola da gamba, was the guitar and was so hard to me to learn how to use the bow meanwhile the hand used for the fingerboard showed me few problems (problems with intonation out of the frets yes) but for chords and firsts positions was quite simple for me...so that's why i think bow needs much more attention, each finger to hold the bow has your specific function, without talking about weight, balance, bow speed, articulation, etc...etc. maybe cello has more need of attention in the fingerboard because of the constantly need of paying attention in intonation and change of positions? Could it be a reason why viola da gamba has frets? So we can pay more attention using all shades that the bow offers? So many questions i've never thought before...thank you for this discussion
