Hi there. After watching your first two games against the French, I think your main problem is the same as most people that are your rank: your lack of scouting your enemy. Is your enemy building a huge army which he will use to attack you once you age up to castle? Is he trading? Does he have a second town center? The answers to these questions should determine your next course of action. You either had no idea or by the time you figured it out it was already too late. For example, in the second game, had you known your opponent was trading then you could have built a few horsemen and raided his traders before aging up to castle. If your opponent has a second town center then you can match him and build a second town center yourself to keep up with his economy. If he's building a large feudal age army then you should at least build a small army to put up some resistance before aging up to castle. Hope this helps.
