Notice how regardless of what the tires are doing the whole bus just rotates around it's centre when it turns? Now that you can't unsee it you'll notice that Mario Kart from 1992 had better animations of how driving on wheels is supposed to work than this Billion dollar 10 year late disaster has.

star citizen has a perfect track record for making stuff first and lather if they can be bothered doing a gaming loop around it. not because it is a fun gaming loop they stumbled upon but for there to be a reason for the unnecessary thing they created 6 years ago. if they started doing ground today they would probably only do hovers and make hover vehicles actually fun to use. but we are instead stuck in the hell that is vehicles and hovers today.

its the spartan, its the ballista or centurion but for troop transport so essentially useless till we get more ground missions

That's why I keep saying the ground vehicles were not made for these planets. If anything, they were made for roads. Either that, or the vehicle and landscape teams never talk to each other. It's a cancerous experience.

Look at how the wheels don't actually turn, the vehicle just spins around the central axis. This is worse fidelity to what wheels are supposed to do than Mario Kart 1992.

Wow, the ship sounds like the shop floor of a lawnmower factory! Hopefully it's only temporary! I'm sure CIG will deal with it during the ship's final gold pass. And if I'm lucky, they'll restore the sound levels of the Defender - she used to have loud rich alien sounds which made the ship appear alive.
