si, dos consolas , si quieres eligir dos opciones (1 opción adaptador cable rj45-rs232 db9 a usb para portatil o PC y 2 opción sólo cable rj45-rs232 db9 para PC viejo) y sólo cable usb mini a usb A para portatil o PC. Cualquiera quieres.

I have an ASR-1001x with only 2x10Gb sfps, that white slot on top right is an expansion for 10Gb ports, I just need another 2x10Gb, do we have any line card options for that? thanks

Great video :) Out of interest, would this router have enough horse power to utilise a 100Mbps upload /100Mbps download WAN connection with a single IP SEC Site to Site tunnel? No other services running. We have around 30 users and currently sit on a DSL connection with a Cisco 887 (4Mbps upload / 17Mbps download) with a single IP Sec tunnel without any issues apart from speed obviously. I'm curious as you mention (and so does the spec sheet) this provides up to 50Mbps on the WAN side (I assume all services running) but also noted you said 3.5Gbps if it wasn't running too many services? What performance could we expect for both general internet traffic and IP Sec traffic? Thanks in advance!

You must be mistaken, he's an expert in 192.168.1.0/24 networks and the believes that default gateways are a complete waste of time.

+Christopher Salinardi I was in a class once and was handed a free Cisco Press book for answering the question "Why does a layer 2 switch need a default gateway?" Ah, those were the days... Then there was that one time at Morton's that you remember... :)

thank you for the response. we were evaluating the unit and was skeptical because that seemed heavy. The one we actually got in is only 18 lbs. So I think its depends on the configuration.

Please bear in mind that if you run BGP the router will be much heavier.

fractal_force The supervisor on the 4500-X is integrated and is not field replaceable like a supervisor module in a modular chassis.
