As the researcher, editor and creator of this video (and the caretaker of The Feline Furever Farm)...I also wanted to share my own recent story of a cat's intuition at work that just happened here at the farm at the end of May of this year. I was going to include it into this video - but then got to thinking...I have SEVERAL incidences that have occurred where cats here have deeply reacted towards events that have occurred or are about to occur at the farm, therefore, I decided I should create an entire video dedicated to the stories. Stay tuned for that in the future. It is obvious to me that cats have incredible intuition - and any psychic will tell you that cats also are known as healers that also tap into their 6th sense often. From what I've witnessed in my own life...I have definitely become very aware of a cat's heightened senses towards those that are hurting, stressed or grieving. I also have accounts of times when I'm about to lose a cat, (unbeknownst to me) and other cats definitely begin behaving outside of their normal realm. Recently, on May 23rd, I lost Dixie suddenly (with no warning) to saddle thrombosis. Days before the loss of her, her dining companion, formal feral Pacer - and spitting image of Dixie but in a male form - all of a sudden seemed extremely stressed and freaked out. He refused to come eat and ran from me like I was going to hurt him. I couldn't understand what was going on with him. This was all very unlike him. After she passed, I went down to "her corner" of the yard in disbelief - and to let out a cry over the sudden loss of her. Out of the blue - Pacer approached me. He was no longer acting afraid of me. As I shed my tears, I asked him if he could sit the corner of the yard where she always sat so I would always be able to remember her. To this day, it's exactly where I can find him. There are many other stories such as this one that have happened around here...this is just the most recent. Please share your stories of times when you know that your cat tapped into it's own intuition. I look forward to reading them.

They warm my heart so much...all of them. But the bond between these three...and...now apparently four ❤❤❤❤...will bring smiles to the saddest of days. It's a good thing once cats come here, they live here for "Furever" ..because if I adopted out, I would have to find a home that would accept four cats at once!! Thank you for watching!!!

They are considered "community cats." Not really "strays." It's a community effort to take care of them all. They give them names, accept them, let them roam in and out of their shops - and make sure they are completely taken care of. I am sure in the cat's eyes, they do have have a home in whatever shop they decide to hang inside. I used the Googleman to look at the streets - and found the same kitties hanging near and around the same shops or parks for years. They all looked very well taken care of.

Ok so they are loved. But why don’t people want to give a cat a proper home? Don’t they want cats in their homes? Here in England I never see a stray. They can wander round, but then they go back home.

@@kirstymackenzie2437 I imagine some may or may not have a true owner. The point of the video was to show more about the compassion of a community that steps up and takes care of animals that pass by...and does not harm them. Unlike many other places in the world including my own neighborhood. Neighbors where I live have been known to purposely swerve to hit them with their vehicles or shoot them if it makes their dog bark. Some people here just hate cats for no reason. If it had a home, and someone purposely harmed it, it's blamed on the owner for letting it roam. Meanwhile, animals don't understand property lines that humans created - and escape occasionally no matter how much you try to control or confine them. It's very disturbing the way some people disregard the life of others. I find Istanbul very special and unique that they embrace love for all and choose to love and care for them versus harm them.

They actually have a third kitty they LOVE too named Charley (aka Charleston) but he has been having to stay inside in order to recover from an eye ulcer that formed in one of his eyes recently. Usually, the three of them walk around the yard like this, in unison...like they are practicing for a parade or something! LOL!
