In the top 3, Spain & Venezuela did not stand a chance at all against India. when Lara Dutta gave her final powerful answer, there was no doubt she was gonna win. in fact, even in her earlier casual interview with Sinbad, you could tell India was the strongest contender for the crown just by her presence and the way she speaks.

Oh please. Miss Philippines performance was bad in MU’99. It’s a wonder that she even made it to top 3. She did look beautiful but she didn’t hold a candle to Mpule’s charm and wit. She slipped in her prelims and she still advanced somehow. Her top 5 answer was okay. I’ll say she got lucky since she referred to her slipping on the stage. However, her final answer was sloppy and lacking conviction. Mpule was on 🔥 and answered with utmost conviction. Please don’t be envious of victors from other nations.

I was thinking maybe anntonia porsild from supranational 2019 will be the next beauty queen who can win two crowns in the pageantry but, sadly she failed. Then katherine espin of miss earth 2016 followed but unluckyly she also failed in their local competition. Still waiting for the next larra Dutta

Now another queen from India Rachel Gupta who won two crowns in pageantry. First is Miss Supertalent of the World and now she is Miss Grand International 2024❤

The typical choices (haven't watch this yet so I don't know if it will apply to this year): "Spain! Venezuela! India! Mexico! U.S.A.! Brazil! Puerto Rico! Singapore! South Africa! Australia!" There, I just said the top ten for a good four out of five years. Substitute one or two countries out for the fifth year and throw in "Jamaica!" and "Some former Soviet Block Country!" Did I miss anyone???

Glad the flat hair era has passed. It was much needed after the hairspray 80s but it got to a point where every single female on earth had the flat hair look. I once even saw a spider sporting her limpy locks, though they kept getting stuck in her web.

Hahaha! Yes larra Dutta is one of a kind. However do not overrate her intellect as you think she's on top of everyone else. Some ladies after her edition also gave an amazing answers. Like Catriona, zozibini & harnaaz

You see how beautiful Miss Universe was during the day were SINGLE WOMEN ONLY allowed to compete. Nowadays, it is a MESS. Everyone can join and there is no standard anymore. This edition has one of the best production and the winner is truly deserving. Lara Dutta from India is one of the best Miss Universe winners ever. Love from the Philippines.

@@Andresmarc365 There is nothing wrong with married women but if they want to join pageants, then there is MRS. UNIVERSE, MRS. INTERNATIONAL, MRS. WORLD..A contest specific for them. Miss Universe is for "Miss" meaning "single".
