Now that we have these powerful consoles and PCs, even smartphones... remakes for these old movies, to say more, any movies with vivid action scenes, like Where Eagles Dare, an 1968 movie

Das Spiel war seiner Zeit meilenweit voraus! Wirklich erstaunlich was man mit dem kleinen C64 programmieren konnte. Habe das Spiel in meiner Kindheit gespielt und war sehr begeistert.

I thought this one is impossible to complete because of some bug in last level?
@Myrryspeikko7 күн бұрын
Yep you are correct, original is impossible to complete. But finally in 2023 Milasoft fixed that bug and now you can complete game properly. There is still another bug or rather misspelling in game though. At the end of level 1 it gives you code "Sabbatta" to unlock level 2 but it does not work because correct spelling for the code is "Sabatta". Imagine that you just ended level one back in the day, wrote the code down and it does not work. =)

I just remembered after seeing this that i had a very hard game on the C64 called: Tiger Hell. It's a topdown shootemup but sometimes quite unfair with not many lives to get. Would been fun to see a longplay of that on this channel.

Ahead of it's time in many ways. Free deployment and freedom of approach (strategic placement of the ammo bags too), complex objectives, crawling, sprinting, stealth, encouraging avoiding enemy contact, limited primary weapon ammo, bunch of different weapons, ability to turn and aim 360 incrimentally (all this was difficult to pull off with a joystick with just one button). Most of this was unheard of in other games. Memorable theme music too

I don't care how you did it, Trickium is unplayable. The gaps are there as you've demonstrated, but in all practicality they don't exist. Three other ships are very tough, but playable. You just need to be a very good player to master them. Trickium however is simply unfair.., it lives up to its name.

“Throw rope” in the end would have worked too.
@MyrryspeikkoАй бұрын
I always felt that if you throw rope across the river that rescued girl is left behind, especially when it says "You throw the rope across the river and manage to drag yourself through the raging waters to other side." Also I wanted to show that old man will make appearance in the end. (if you offer him pint and listened his tale).

I remember a cracked version of this game. If you choose to have unlimited time, the game bugs out at the end of the first level because it tries to count down the time, but since it's infinite, it encounters an issue.

I remember this including music as well. I used to play it on the C64 when I was a kid. I thought that loading screen spooked me as a kid as well. The C64 music sounds pretty catchy. The C64 version of the 1987 beat 'em up arcade game by SEGA, a subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings (as we know) was released in 1989 (a year before I was born) and it was distributed by Virgin Games (then Virgin Interactive and Avalon Interactive), a defunct British video game publisher and developer.
