This has to be the best combination of the two songs. I would love to see how people can also do this. Is this version available for printout and other choirs? I would love to share this with my school choir.

Comme la nuit,..... comme la mer,..... Que ton amour..... soit grand!.... Comme la nuit, ......et comme la mer,..... Que ton amour, que ton amour...... soit grand,..... Que ton amour soit grand!..... Puis cet amour,..... donne le moi,..... Et tout mon etre est à toi...... Ivres d'espace,..... Plus forts que la mort,..... De notre amour nous empliron..... le ciel, Nous emplirons...... le ciel!...... Still as the night,..... deep as the sea,....... Should love, thy love...... ere be!...... Still as the night..... and deep as the sea, ...... Should love, thy love, should, thy love ........ ere be, should love, thy love...... ere be! If thou love me....... as I love thee, ....... I will thine own aye be. ........ Glowing as steel,........ as rock firm and free...... Should love, thy love, should , thy love........ aye be,....... should love, thy love....... aye be!........ Unfortunately, the audioscription is not in sync with the image. There is also a pronunciation error in German. Steel (Stahl) and stone (Stein), is pronounced sh... like in English >Should< . Otherwise very good German. Bravi Ms.

Agree with the reverb comment. Also needs to work on supporting lower notes. But very lovely tone! Wish we could hear it with a better sound system

Dear, you have a very GREAT voice! Wow, you sound like a budding dramatic soprano or fully lyric at least. It's big and full and rich and very natural placement and excellent natural breath support for the most part! You seem more comfortable in your mid-range but the true power and ring or your high notes revealed themselves late in the song, towards the end of the piece on "Have Mercy" when you allowed them more depth, breadth, support, and air. Previously, there was too much pressure on the high notes of "pardon" and consequently the vibrato slowed. Don't stop sending air even though you sing a "p". Sing "through" the p of pardon. Like a whisper, instead of using so much pressure. Watch that right hand keeping the tempo. And keep your jaw more relaxed. It is tight sometimes. Honestly, all in all, wow, i am greatly surprised and very impressed with your voice, and frankly, didn't expect to be. You look meek and mild standing there keeping time, but your voice tells a different story and belies your true power. Stand proud in your power with your head held high and own it....you will go far. Don't clamp the high notes shut for fear of making too much noise. Let it out and let that voice shine! Brava!

Too slow, and it's the wrong style. Michele Weir is a vocal jazz arranger, and here you guys are singing it in a choral style. It's completely wrong. Jazz chords lose their luster if your vocal color is too dark.

I think you need to work on the coloratura bit at the end. That was a little off.

Perfection. Better than all those pop singers. You an Renee Fleming are the only ones who sing the anthem exactly as written.

How interesting to hear a Soviet composer on a BU event.

Too much reverb on the mic. She's a classically trained singer so she has natural reverb in her voice.

Hi Jodi :-) My daughter Hannah is learning When I Have Sung my Songs this semester. I entered the title in search box on our smart tv this morning and let it play through just so I could listen to the song. I looked up and told my husband "Hey, that looks like the student we met in S.A"....and he said "It is the student we met." lol Thanks youtube...small world. Anyway, nice job and hope your semester is going well. I subscribed to your channel. ;-)

About the first song you sang, I sang a song in choir called, "Heaven-Haven" and it had the same exact lyrics but a different tune. It's weird that people use the same words of songs but change the arrangement or tune.

Loved it!!(: The altos are a bit quiet, but that's OK! It's hard to balance such a strong soprano group!
