I really appreciate your kind words. It's unbelievable that it's been almost 3 months since the shutdown, because I can't forget the feeling of the moment, anguish, fear of it. Each player fell one by one, then there was that message from "Callie and Marie in the studio" that poped up, which leaded to an error, it broke me into tears, that happened even when i was animating this...It's kind of difficult to describe Splatoon in words, but it guides us through our passions, like doing a tribute animation, or a whole track for it. It's incredible how we create these things from the bottom of our hearts, from our deepest feelings. I love Splatoon...

It's not good to blame yourself for something, back then (and still) i'm into Super Mario, for many years this was the only Nintendo thing I cared about. I was like you. What i wrote in the description, "In general, on the surface, it just looks like a silly 3rd person shooter made by Nintendo." is literally what I thought of Splatoon back in the day. I could blame myself for thinking this, but I probably was afraid of the "new" at that time. It's normal...and definitely! The Squid Sisters are awesome! They're the first thing that comes to my mind when talking about Splatoon!

Yeah, you have a point. Its just that, i had the chance to, because i had the game alongside other said game. Both included inside the console. So i basically could have given it a try, but i never did.

I would give all my money for a remake of Octo Valley's story mode on Switch! It's a lost potential that they didn't include it in the Plaza DLC, it would bring even more content to Splatoon 3...

I'll admit I was very emotional while editing this. I was finally finishing an animation that had been shelved for 8 months or even longer...I finally managed to put the pieces all together.

Splatoon 1 just feels so different from Splatoon 2 or 3 that it creates its own charm that they don't have. The ending credits are always amazing, but none can beat the first one, I just love Maritime Memory that much. When I beat Splatoon for the first time a loong time ago, It took a few seconds until I realized that I had to shoot ink on the screen to see the credits hahah.

​@@jeellycioussI think what made splatoon 1 credits better was maritime memory Besides, we will no longer be able to see the concerts with the amiibos :(

@@Squidki382 This isn't an issue for Splatoon 1, you can use the amiibos in offline mode. Now the real issue is Splatoon 3, because amiibos require internet to work. Not only to shoot photos, but to get their gear too!
