Thank you for all these videos you have made things so clear. With Hashi's gluten/dairy are inflammatory foods I've been eating them again which has caused major joint/inflammation pain. But I'm ok With no coffee, Chocolate and eat more healthy... It is mind Boggling that my GP or the Dr who did my Endoscopy didn't bring this LPF... But thankful for you and clearing this up.

It is unbelievable that in 2024 people will have to try to pour saline solutions into their noses to somehow alleviate their symptoms, that there is actually no research into this and that it is not even possible to visualize the tube. And a constant application of salt in the ear, it rises and damages the eyes. Gradually, it dries out the vitreous humor, it forms clouding earlier, detaches from the back of the eye earlier and, in the worst case, causes retinal tears and holes. In 2024, all we have are medieval tools like saline oils that are tipped into the tube or fillers that don't stay where they're supposed to? I used to love working out and playing sports, and now it's all about that damn tube problem. In 2024, this disease is like an unknown unicorn.

Oh my word. My symptoms totally. Had an endoscopy nothing found ... meds not helping. Post nasal drip, cough and chest mucus my only symptoms. I have Hashi's so gluten, dairy out. But making other changes hoping to help. THANK you so much for clearing all this up. It is all making sense now... caffeine, chocolate, gluten (which I shouldn't be eating anyway due to inflammation) I have had Leaky gut in the past. What do you feel about Apple cider vinegar daily?

Dr Hamid Djalilian links hyperacusis and tinnitus to migraine. However his trials include such small sample sizes, no mention of exclusion criteria and number of drop outs. Numerous patents. He basically selected a small sample of migraine patients and treated them. He mentions CGRP as important, yet his medications do not directly block CGRP, at least not the primary medications. Also he received a gift of 1 million dollars from Brian Fargo for a middle ear implant, and then patents it, preventing other ENTs around the world following suit. Is this ethical?

I have been experiencing eardrum collapse and Eustachian problems for many years. My right ear has very little hearing, the ossicles are fused. The left eardrum is very thin and is constantly blocked. Nose surgery, tube treatment, and allergy treatment did not help. As soon as I wake up from sleep, my ears hear well, at sea level altitudes and at mountain level, but in normal times they are usually clogged. Is it from the position of the bones at sea level? Does ear pressure increase during sleep? I couldn't find a solution and now I have to use a device. Is it caused by the melting and loosening of the ossicles?

What I have noticed from how much I have read about tinnitus is that it seems to me that tinnitus requires a level of technological complexity far above what we have today, we need exams capable of seeing microstructures, drugs capable of regenerating nerves, hair cells, understanding where the tinnitus acts on the brain and "turns it off". And the worst part is that people in general are completely ignorant about the problem, it affects millions, ends the lives of millions and the amount of money invested is minimal. Tinnitus may not kill, but it ends a person's life, which I don't know which is worse. It is an absurd evil for humanity and governments seem to do nothing like they do with other problems like cancer.

We need more research, there are many cases of suicide, I myself don't know how long I can take it. Tinnitus is worse than cancer, I would change it without any problems. Exams are normal, phlegm rose up the tube in sinusitis reaching the middle ear and now severe tinnitus. Science needs to evolve, new exams, external cochlear implants only for tinnitus. People's suffering is superhuman.

"User of Saline: Curious if anyone has experienced onset of floaters after Patulend use. PET left side and floaters now in the left eye. PET is SO MUCH BETTER but I’m hypothesizing that inflammation in my left sinus cavity has caused increased intraocular pressure leading to floaters." 2024 Interdisciplinary medicine between ophthalmology and ear medicine would know what the long-term use of saline solutions does to the eyes. However, this interlinking of the various specialist areas does not seem to exist in 2024. Nature did not intend for saline solution to enter our tissue in the long term. Salt diffuses into other tissues. Accelerated dehydration of the vitreous body of the eye and subsequent vitreous opacities could be the result. However, as there are no longer-term observation periods over years, I suspect that this effect will not be associated with the use of saline nasal spray or saline solution. The official application of saline solution inside the body between the ear and the eye is a precautionary, helpless measure because there are no other options, which will have massive side effects in the long term, which nobody can foresee today because there is no such long observation period. It is logical that the application of saline solution in the space between the ear and eye, it will also be drawn into other tissues. Salt is dehydrating. It also dries out the surrounding tissues. That is my logical assumption. This means that tissue shrinks over time. This means that tissue is less elastic, as is the tissue of the eye that comes into contact with the salt over time. mechanism of osmosis. Imagine permanently dripping salt solution onto your tongue, which happens to the mucous membranes of the mouth. The permanent emergency use of salt in the nose, under the eyes. Everything pulls upwards. Everything has always been drawn upwards. The salt also pulls upwards towards the eye. That's how I've noticed it. And it will have long-term side effects. Ophthalmologists would know that, but they don't know about the gaping tube syndrome and there is no interlocking medicine that deals with it because the issue is too rare. The vitreous body dries up in the course of life anyway. Everything about ageing is a drying process. Salt accelerates the whole thing even more. This means that the vitreous body can detach from the back of the retina faster and earlier. This is because the salt causes it to accelerate, dry out and shrink and therefore there is more tension at the back of the retina, which is connected to the vitreous body at certain points. Salt also somehow gets from the tube to the eyes. It has dried out my eyes. It makes the eyes drier. And when the vitreous dries out, I think the collagen supports of the vitreous dissolve more quickly. Or rather, they don't dissolve, they tend to clump together. The collagen support is like a net that stabilizes the vitreous body. They clump together more with age anyway and you can see them as floaters. The saline nasal spray continues this development or, in my opinion, accelerates it. I could well imagine that PET patients who use a lot of saline nasal spray or saline solution, which is offered as a remedy, are perhaps more likely to develop retinal problems as a result, because the vitreous body dries out more quickly and therefore detaches from the retina more quickly, which is a normal ageing process, but it is accelerated. Just an assumption on my part, based on my personal knowledge of the vitreous body of the eye, its shrinkage and possible retinal problems. In 2024, we need proper surgical treatment for the gaping tube. Saline nasal sprays are a kind of medieval tool. Nature didn't intend for salt to get into the ostial tube, massively and highly concentrated. In the long term, I think it dries out the eyes, especially in older people. The permanent emergency use of salt in the nose, under the eyes. Everything pulls upwards. Everything has always been drawn upwards. The salt also pulls upwards towards the eye. My eardrums become misaligned when I yawn and I always have to breathe in to align them again. My eardrums are overstretched. The clicking hasn't gone away for 2 months now, I have 0 quality of life because my circulation is going crazy from fatigue and this damn Velcro in my ears. And the university can't measure it. They say I don't have PET and refuse treatment. 2 others say I have PET but won't treat, no-one will help me. The clicking in my ears doesn't let me live any longer. I can feel the swallowing pressure on my eardrums and my heart gets a lot of extrasystoles because I can never rest. Every single minute is full of clicking and there is no escape. My jaw now hurts and my heart is always beating fast. No more work, no more free time, just sleeping pills and the dependency that comes with them.

They just don't know, so many sufferers around the planet with that damn open tube. But there is no treatment. I still have a cracking/clicking/smacking sound with every empty swallow. I can't sleep anymore, death would be a gift, because life is no longer possible, sleep is no longer possible. Heart disease due to lack of sleep is now coming as a result. My tubes are extremely dilated. There is a new device from Korea, a standing CT, where you can see the open tube in the CT, you stand during the scan so that the anatomy is not changed. But the ENTs say, well, you shouldn't stand in line. But sleep is pointless because of the disgusting noise and the volume in the skull. And there is no one in Germany who can do it. The German universities are completely bankrupt, our whole country is falling apart and we no longer have any good junior doctors who can even diagnose it, and if we do, we are powerless to do anything about it afterwards. 2024 is not a good time for patients with open Eustachian tubes. Especially those with very open tubes. Really, death, would be peace. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Hello - when my mother does the hypertonic solution, it works, but it is so excruciatingly painful in her ear that she cries and this is hard to witness. We use 2 tsp of salt in 1 cup of water. She lays supine with head turned 45 degrees until the pain starts which is quickly - then she sits up and tries to wash the stuff out of throat because that burns also. Wondering if its necessary to get the hypertonic solution all the way to the ear drum because the pain (described as "a knife is piercing my ear) in the ear is very bad.
