Omg.. Now I understand why every old motor and bike I buy is like it is when I get to it .. I guess you have to start somewhere guys... but maybe you should take up crochet or knitting instead of doing engineering.. Have you never heard of cleaning Before disassembling.. Good luck getting that washer out of the sump that you dropped in there. 4/10 for in practice 11/10 For enthusiasm

Best advice I could give you young guys. Need to slow down a lil. Block of wood goes along way without a rubber mallet. Get in a hurry tend to break and loose things.

Absolutely correct sKoal022 but then this the begining for them. I guess that's normaL🤔? Or is it ? I'm 35 and about to engage on a project soon aNd believe it or not , I'm writing notes at this very moment. 🤣

Hey I'm thinking of picking up a xr 200 this weekend for 300, the whole engines taken apart but everything is supposedly there, the frame wheels and paint looks great, once I fix it up how much do you think I should resell it for?

Also remove the 10mm bolt from the cam chain tensioner stick a screw driver in it and lossen the 14mm bolt to loosen the cam chain. Always remove the stator cover on XR engines when removing the cam chain. Never beat on a head with a steel hammer get a rubber mallet.
@FleXyz4503 жыл бұрын
Bro why did you put the bolt back in 😂 just put them all in the Cdi cover they aren’t hard to keep track of.

This is actually a 1989 GTC with a 2.5 turbo being it is an automatic. Also, the fuel tank straps need to be snug against the tank. Remove the foam immediately!!!!!

I always get some soapy water and a rag to lube up where the beadlock is. That will have it slide off. If your going to just replace the tube and not the tire then you only have to take the one side off so you can get to the tube. Then when you put the new tube in just be super careful not to pinch the new tube. They can get a hole super easy. Also if you want to go the extra mile I like to put some kind of baby powder or goldbond inside the tire to keep the tube from sticking.
