The one thing i disliked about bl1 is that the game goes from 0 - 100 REAL quick (and at few points too) like with a lvl 6 being thrown straight into a lvl 13/14 bone head.

If you were to do allegiance runs as Lil in BL1 and 2, what brands would you choose? You probably know this already, but you can regen rockets with any Absorb shield and any Torgue-barrel rocket rifle. The Vladof Rocketeer is the most efficient, plus it fits thematically since it's the same brand as Absorb shields (meaning you can regen rockets on a Vladof allegiance run). 10:17 Stay Determined, Tactician! 11:05 I have an idea for ya! It's more of a style run than a challenge run, but it has potential for a good time. I call it "the Arnie challenge" or "the Arnie run." You play as Sal, and the idea is to use weapon pairs that are reminiscent of the way Arnie gunzerks in his movies. For example, in 'The Terminator', he uses an AR-18 in his right hand an a SPAS-12 in his left hand. BL2 equivalent would be a Dahl or Vladof assault rifle in Sal's right hand (w/anything other than a Torgue barrel) and a Hyperion shotgun in his left hand (w/matching barrel). In 'Eraser', Arnie gunzerks with a pair of railguns. BL2 equivalent would be E-Tech railers and all Maliwan sniper rifles. All elements allowed. No limit on class mods. No Tediore weapons (because Arnie is never seen throwing weapons away). What shields are the most Arnie-like? I'd say Absorb or Booster. With Booster shields, you could try to ninja-snatch boosters out of the air the moment they deploy to show off those Terminator reflexes. Absorb shields are Arnie-like because they explain how he never runs out of ammo (but this based on Sal anyway). Another alternative would be to play Axton in the style of Arnie's character, John Matrix, from 'Commando'. It would focus on rocket launchers. You'd have to use launchers with Vladof barrels since they're most similar to the mock-up M202 FLASH that he used in 'Commando'. That's also applicable to the Arnie/Sal style run. One of the best weapons he used in 'Commando' was a Valmet M78/83 (the Finnish RPK) which is comparable to any top-tier Vladof assault rifle/machine gun. Also, while not zerking, you could use weapons normally. The significant detail is which hand is holding which type of weapon while zerking.

I just started playing BL1 again after about 2 years. It's the GOTY edition on ps3. When i last played, i had a lvl.28 Roland and lvl.34 Mordy. I had about 10-12 legendaries total (most from farming chests in Gen. Knoxx dlc). In the past several days i leveled Mordy from lvl.34 to 39. In that time i have found 13 legendaries (9-10 from random world drops and 3-4 from vending machines). I've mostly been playing vanilla game and the zombie dlc. Did they do a patch that seriously boosts the legendary drop rate within the past 2 years?

This was epic man. I played BL for a year straight before finding BL2. Played that one for about a year and a half and went back to the forst one about two weeks ago. Nostalgia. Being able to play as Lilith on BL2 would be amazing

I miss these guns. Not only does shooting heads feel satisfying, but the "oomph" that these guns carry is just fantastic.

There's a "hidden" chest that you pass during the "By the seeds of your pants" side quest that you can get elemental revolvers from (the x3 explosive element can last you till level 48 even when the gun is only level 13-15). You can also get a revolver from the chests in sledges safehouse, the vender over by the circle of slaughter, and from random chests over near titans end in arid badlands (mind my spelling)
