I thoroughly enjoyed that virtual ride, my friend and I did the exact same run back in 2020 just before the big lock down. We went over to Holy Island, then came back on the coastal route, stopping off at Bamburgh Castle car park for an ice cream, there's always at least one van parked there. I really need to get up there more often, it's perfect bike country. Ride safe.

Great bike n ride out. Just about to visit local Enfield garage...still not decided on first bike.
@stevebacon54662 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I've owned a few bikes over the years... The Enfield is a great all-rounder and definitely a lot of fun... you'd have to spend a lot of money to beat it... even, like me you upgrade some parts... its still a lot cheaper than the equivalent motorbike.... Happy hunting and good luck... 👍

@@stevebacon5466 Still undecided I like aspects of all of them. Of course the big decision will be is the Interceptor going to give me x more. But test rides needed🤞

@@MauriceTarantulas I am a rider that used to ride Triumph's , BSA's and Norton's in the day , rode over powered Kawasaki's , Yamaha's and the likes which were great fast bikes , FF to September 2021 I grabbed an ' Orange Crush ' Interceptor like the one here and mate you will not be disappointed with one of these , old school charm with modern realiability , cant go wrong , I love mine

I love it when I come across a video of an area I recognize, I used to go to Heddon on the Wall most weekends back in the eighties, when there was a shooting range down in the valley. Then a quick pint in the White Swan. I love the countryside up there, It's a short ride from Durham. I tend to head south down to Yorkshire for my ride's out. I really need to turn the bike around and head up to Northumberland more often. Ride safe.

I wanted to see the salt water! 😉 Nice video of the lay of the land. Seems like a very old area of England. Those old stone houses and farm buildings look to be many centuries old, and still functioning. I gather that the land in England has been cleared now for centuries, as well. The well established and maintained old stone walls and hedge rows as wind breaks for the farmland, to prevent wind erosion. England is quaint because it started as villages and farmland and everything since then has developed around that basic model... maintaining much of the original motif. Gord

Actually, Beadnell has one of the best beaches ⛱ in Britain...yes, we are lucky the farmers keep everything pristine....the roads are a dream for motorcyclists... Bamburgh Castle, which is close to Beadnell dates back to the 11 century.... thanks for your interest fella,. Which country do you call home?.

@@stevebacon5466 Thanks Steven. Appreciated your return comments. I'm here in DFW Texas. We have lots of history here as well. But Nevada is the best persevered... but only going back a couple of hundred years. Thanks, Gord

@stevebacon54662 жыл бұрын
Thanks, the GoPro is simply mounted on the handlebars... I'm working on getting shot of the pixelating... I'll try a different frame rate and if that doesn't work, I'll alter the Render setting when I down load to KZbin....
