i remember playing this as a kid, abusing exp system punching gilbert with bare hands and pot it back, ninja class are broken with long range and frozen debuff.I also remember going to optional dungeon filled with dragons from a book? and chip it one by one with "owen", my broken mercenary. good times

I had a demo of the tank battles from a magazine disk, I played it for hours but there was no campaign map in it. I bought the actual game a few years ago to play again and I too bounced off the campaign maps. Campaign 2 any better?

One of the great problems with the 16-bit generation is that it gave developers the means to create very complex gaming experiences compared to the 8-bit platforms, and they just took that and ran with it, which is why there are so many games, especially on the Amiga, ST, and DOS, that are just near-impossible to play with any real purpose. Campaign, for me, represents the epitome of this problem. Just trying to figure out the complexities of the map takes hours of study of the manual to fathom, and then you have to contend with the manifold different control schemes for different vehicles.

I had this when it came out. I remember how amazing the graphics were, it was so far ahead of the earlier versions that came before it. Of course it looks pretty cheesy now though. The game came with 4 airport addons, each with their own detailed manual in book form along with the manual for the game itself which was huge. (Who remembers when games came with printed manuals?).

Hi - can you tell me what dosbox config settings are you using like resolution, scaler etc. I am unable to get my resolution to work properly in dosbox. The screen is heavily pixelated.

The media like intro scenes and cd audio are on disk 2. after installing the game you use disk 2 to play the game :D

Controls and feeling of flying/gameplay is absolutely horrible in War Thunder, World of Warplanes is much better!

@@AverageDays I guess you haven’t played both properly, I did, War Thunder has more options of what you can do but the feeling of flying an airplane and actual dogfight is non comparable!

If I remember correctly, the sirens were removed because the pilots would hear it basically round the clock, so imagine if it were modelled a bit more accurately

If your talking about real life, the siren was removed because it made the already slow plane even slower
