Prime is a scam. The payments are so high that by the end of a 3yr lease you have completely paid off that truck and then some. Then you sign another lease and they take that truck, fix it all up and put new virgin tires on it that you pay for out of your escrow and then they sell the truck for around $50,000. Probably more nowadays. Prime makes more money with the leasing scam than they do moving loads. It's criminal what they're doing and they've been getting away with it for years. They literally sell every truck twice. Also they own the dealership in Springfield so they're getting big discounts on the new trucks they buy for their lease scam. They brainwash those drivers so bad that they usually get mad at you if you try to explain to em how they're getting ripped off.

@@Love2Zooom Yes. Many are huge and well thought out if they’re new. Others have bad layouts. The other thing about old TAs and FJs is that they were built before current wastewater/drainage requirements. Newer truckstops have had to build smaller lots to accommodate drainage ponds.

@ Depends what you’re looking for. I think the lease purchase is a good program but you’ve got to deal with some BS until the truck’s completely yours. Also, if you can work within their parameters, which often change, you could flourish there.

@@charlesphillips1928 I’ve mostly had limited problems with WE. FedEx Ground is hit or miss, some are fine, others r clowns.

I’ve never had that issue, but I tend to avoid Love’s truck stops now because they rarely, if ever, have hot water, and it runs out quicker. I think both of these are done on purpose to keep shower use shorter. Pilot Flying J, on the other hand, always has the hot water I want and usually good water pressure. I’m not a fan of Love’s showers and try to avoid them. They do have good parking lots, though-I’ll give that to Love’s, and their fruit stands are a nice touch too. If you want to eat healthier, I like that about Love’s as well.
