Is the HDPE able to use for hull body of fishing boat 150 grt?

I like the idea and Leister has a good reputation, but the weight and the price has been holding me back as I investigate other products. I used to own a Drader extrusion welder but the product and support from them was terrible. I don't want to spend $4k on another manufacturers experiment. The weight is an issue as the Drader actually caused me to develop hand issues from the weight. I see this one actually has provisions for relieving the weight while welding. Most of these welders look like they were invented while the developer was sitting on the toilet. Weight, compact, and versatility are foremost in my search, but I'm not paying $4k for another $1500 welder.

This is great work guys! The welding technique is the same as we’ve used on our HDPE barge/narrow boat. Those welds are super strong.

Welds look great but you have no penetration at all. Clearly never been trained the correct way.

I had a bath toy made of HDPE. Same but smaller.

If the tube material is fabric, “O” shaped tubes are required but if the tubes a metal, “D” shaped tubes offer more interior space. Filling the interior of the tubes with non water absorbing foam like Boston Whaler uses is the key to a safe passage home regardless of the mission.

are the tees at the bird net support electrofusion welds?
