The leap of quality between season 1 and 2 is sheer. It's nice to see Weta nailing again since GoT s08, phenomenal work!

How do you do the painting out of the actors to replace them with CGI?

Interesting how different dragons are handled by different VFX companies. WETA FX were in charge on Syrax, Caraxes, Seasmoke and Vermithor. Pixmondo handled Vhagar, Meleys, Sunfyre, Silverwing, Moondancer and Vermax. Not sure which company were in charge of Sheepstealer or Stormcloud.

What a lame animation of eating the guy. Have you ever seen any animal biting somthing that slow? Omg, this is so lame
@stormtrooper10614 сағат бұрын
lol, why don't you create a better example then? Btw, IRL, in this age, we don't have carnivorous animals that are as big as this dragon, how could you know exactly how a creature of this size moves? The animation looks fine, you are just being nitpicky.

Great from you to show that, contrary to what Andy Serkis once implied, it's not just a perfect performance capture applied to a 3D model, it's a combination of many people's hard work that gives life to these characters.

I gotta say man, you guys impress me more than ILM sometimes... and that's saying a lot considering ILM have been the industry standard go-to VFX firm for over 40 years

There were truly some beautiful sequences and a really good humanistic story in this film, just wish the studio marketing team would've been able to properly sell this over here in the states.
