how about make a video for HA and Outback integration :), I need it lol
@howiegrapek12 күн бұрын
Interesting request. I've done a lot with Home Assistant and my Solar System over the past few years... I did place some items online in my GitHub account already for anyone to download. Go to GitHub and search for "hgrapek". If that is not enough, I'll be happy to share my setup and Home Assistant YAML files with you. Please reach out to me directly. Note, I've since upgraded from the Outback inverter and charge controllers to both Signature Solar (EG4 products - inverter and batteries) as well as a SolArk 15K inverter, but the files and monitoring processes are pretty much the same. Do you think a homeassistant Playlist here would be helpful?
@fmangua12 күн бұрын
@ definitely, actually should be the first one here in YT. I tried to search here and dont find any integration between HA and solar systems. I will contact u private.

Thank you Terri!!! Seriously, I'll continue to detect and create videos anyway - I do it because I truly love it. I'm always looking for ideas on how to improve both quality and content. I have lots of travel plans this coming coming year where the detecting will be fun and not on local beaches. They include a ghost town in Colorado, Some Long Island / NY Hunting, Jamaica, the DR, Aruba, and the Bahamas. Stay tuned :) Thank you so much for watching and your support.

Thanks!!! I appreciate that, I’m trying to make the content interesting and engaging! I’ll keep posting and see what happens. I am really doing this because it is good for me - health wise - both physically and spiritually. The KZbin monetization part would be a bonus (just a personal goal), but it is not what motivates me. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Not sure they laws but can you go out in the ocean and dive down and find pirate tressure in naples?
@howiegrapekАй бұрын
Hi. I believe there are no leases in the Gulf near Naples like on the treasure coast, so I think so, but to actually dive down, I’d have to research some more. There have been many wrecks from the 1700’s and prior, and I know folks who regularly hunt while wading in the water from the beach line over there without issue. I’ll be on the West coast of Florida again around New Years time , so I’ll certainly try again to hunt on those beaches.

How have your hunts been lately, I am still hunting daily here on the treasure coast, started cleaning my iron ship spike, got it all cleaned up, I have it soaking now in fresh water , then going to clear coat it , got a shadow box frame for it, heading out hunting in the morning down by Sebastian inlet and work my way north to indialantic, happy thanksgiving, Jim

It's awesome to hear you're interested in metal detecting! When buying a detector, consider factors like your budget, the type of terrain you'll be exploring, and what you hope to find. Researching reviews and features can really help you make an informed choice! There are several websites and KZbin channels out there, but I'd recommend Merrill's website to compare. This is a good website for comparison: www.iratemetaldetectors.com/
