..I wanted to add that seeing John in these photos with his son,it is great to see these images of him being happy with his son and Yoko when he was left with his aunt as a child and hardly saw his father. Its told in the film "Nowhere boy".It's nice to know John had a lot of fun,joy and happiness before he was shot.

Man, we were about to get a John Lennon tour in 1981 and eventually would have seen at the very least John & Paul back together making music again at some point- if not all four Beatles. Guy wasn't even thinking what if this was his last day on Earth.

Same clueless lefties then as now. Honestly, what t f do 20-year-olds know about anything? So what we have here is a bunch clueless students interviewing a clueless rockstar. 'Cos let's face it, Lennon was a very talented musician and song writer, but far from the sharpest tool in the box when it came to other matters. And Yoko Ono... Give me a f*cking break!

Is this YOU? If all you are is what you imagine John Lennon was, I pray you are as young as possible. If you are as old as 18 or 20, it may be too late. Alas, it's probably too late for all of us. Failing IS an option.

I had just graduated from college and watched Monday Night Football when Howard announced that he had been shot and was dead. I couldn't believe it. How could this happen when he was just releasing his best work in years. It drove home that life is precious, but life is not your own. You can lose it or have it taken from you in a moment.

You can't convince me that Lennon's assassination was not connected to Reagan being elected just a month before. Lennon would have said things that the Repugnants wouldn't approve. Lennon was a thorn in Nixon's side and the CIA made sure it wouldn't happen again.

While explaining his meaning and intention behind "Power To The People", at the 1:57:50 mark, John describes the German people as being "hypnotized by Hitler". I can only "imagine" that John would have described the tRump cult today in the same exact way.

Well now...I had to skip through again and again because it seems that the first 30 minutes or so is only the Japanese harpy blah-ing on and on. No, I don't accuse her of breaking up the Beatles, I just do not like her at all. She is a talentless succubus. Who has been leeching off of Lennon since she met him.

So Sad....You can really hear John coming into maturity. It seemed like he really was about to take off as a more complete person. He was robbed of so much of his best years. I have mixed feeling about Yoko. I think she really loved him. But, her treatment of Julian Lennon after Johns death was just deplorable. And, it is nice that John spent so much of the 70s as Yokos cheerleader with her artistic offerings. But, I just dont see the talent or anything she did as an artist being worthwhile or ahead of her time. John mentions the B52s as being influenced by Yokos agonizing screeching. The B52s had a heavy sort of funk and dance beat mixed with a bit of new wave punk influence. I am not hearing Yoko influence anywhere. But, then John was always a great salesman for Yokos tone deaf squeeling.
