53:55 you can hear John mention he wanted to take Yoko as well as ‘his wife’ (Cynthia), an allusion to John starting his relationship with Yoko whilst still married to the mother of his son, Julian. At this point, you hear Yoko snicker and giggle. For two people with such tremendous victim mentalities, who suffered so greatly at the hand of evil Paul, George and the Beatles inner circle, you’d think they’d have some empathy for Cynthia. The way they treated her, and carried themselves, was pretty vile.

Listening to John Lennon's, R.I.P., and Yoko Ono's last interview together on that horrible dreadful day literally brings me to tears again as it did, when I was a 14 year old boy, upon hearing the terrible news on the morning of December 9, 1980. I wonder what we all have possibly missed with his passing. If he would have lived I hope to believe that he would have brought much more goodness to this world. May his beautiful memory forever be a blessing to us all.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but something johns murder is certainly not right. 2 surgeons who operated on him plus 3 nurses all claim that John was shot from the front, not the back. Plus Chapman was around 20 feet away yet still managed to place 3-4 bullets all around his heart. Poor john. Never see that talent like that again.

Take that animals name out of the end of your video, please, I was wondering if you were going to mention him and you did. This insect should have no recognition whatsoever for the unspeakable act that he committed. Otherwise, it’s a great video. I would take out the photograph of him and only name him as John Lennon assassin.

While John Lennon’s death may seem like a long time ago, it’s interesting that he mentions McDonald’s, Reagan and Carter (who died today), Ernie and Bert, the B52s, Madness, Bruce Springsteen, The Cars, The Pretenders, The Clash. The music references especially feel like they were of a later time. Living in NY must have given him a sense of being involved in contemporary life and trends. Unfortunately it also lead to his early demise.

Personal bookmark, but to all, 34:35 onwards, some good words on healthier living ...from way back when! WOMAN. What's all this B.S. about, you know, 'women are this' and 'men are that' - we're all human, man. We're all human. And, I am trying to say it not just to Yoko but to all women, on behalf of all men.

I always say I can’t stand Yoko and then I listen to her speaking and Im very taken back because she’s actually a very highly knowledgeable person, she’s just been spattered because of the whole beatle breakup and everything and I actually have to say, I listened to the first part where she’s talking and actually enjwgat she had to say about John and things. I feel really bad for her, losing someone and in those circumstances is a terrible thing. Great in, such a damn shame he was taken from us way to soon and unfair.

I hate people criticising Lennon's life like he done terrible things when he didn't he was just so open and honest so we know everything about him so that makes him a angel as most people i know have done much worse! He had a divorce,a few fights and worked relentless through his twenties so didn't seehis son enough bit every father back then didn't see there kids and got home at 18.00 had dinner and lied on there back, coz so tired! Lennon did amazing for Julian! What do people want? No Beatles? He had to work!

How about the fact that he didn't leave Julian in his will

horrifiyng knowing as this was taped, his murderer was just outside the Dakota, with the loaded gun in his pocket. He died hours after this interview, and Yoko had his body cremated the following day

So crazy that Lennon was the first person ever to look after a kid! Utterly self-congratulatory waffle about bringing up a toddler - with a nanny. Can't imagine how hurtful this would all be for Julian to listen to, I'd say he could've done with all this attention and care from his father when he was a boy.

Okay I've said it before and tried to convince people but this proves it, John Lennon was a freaking genius. I've seen some comments on here that were like oh he was probably stoned. no he doesn't sound stoned to me, you know sounds completely lucid, philosophical, straightforward. If he was stoned he would be talking nonsense but he isn't. He makes perfect sense. Complete, clear and right on point. Exposing hypocrisy, and he never loses his train of thought. He is absolutely incredible in here. The only thing that I wish could be changed is that this could just be transferred to one picture of John that maybe switched into other pictures. , I find that it would be better if it was a blank screen. It's not that I don't enjoy seeing the "Let it Be documentary, but the slow motion is driving me crazy. I wish With Every Beat of My Heart that I could have met this man, sat down with him and talked to him, he's like some sort of Guru. And by that I don't mean that he was better than us by any means. However, if you listen to this man talk you're like wow completely Blown Away. Especially when he talks about like the thought process of people, and the vibrations that are all around us, that we all feel if we would just get in touch with who we are. When he even talks about the vibrations of the animals and why he didn't want to eat them. This is New Age consciousness, this is very deep philosophical stuff. Absolutely amazing. I have read in places that the man had an IQ of 165, and I tried to explain that I answer questions on Quora, and people are oh you're full of s*** no he didn't. Oh yea he did. Listen to the man talk, he is so deep, he is so tuned in, he sees things that people don't see. And you can just hear that he is so just bloody intelligent. The only complaint I have, like I said is that the slow motion distracts from listening to John. And I'm telling you I wish that I could have sat at his feet and just taken in every single word he said. We could use a man like that around these parts today. God bless you John and rest in peace. I love him. ❤

..I wanted to add that seeing John in these photos with his son,it is great to see these images of him being happy with his son and Yoko when he was left with his aunt as a child and hardly saw his father. Its told in the film "Nowhere boy".It's nice to know John had a lot of fun,joy and happiness before he was shot.

Man, we were about to get a John Lennon tour in 1981 and eventually would have seen at the very least John & Paul back together making music again at some point- if not all four Beatles. Guy wasn't even thinking what if this was his last day on Earth.
