Because fees apply each time: How much can you pick up at one time ?
@zamirbutt6 күн бұрын
Hi @LongRonnybyebye, great question! It depends on the ATM and your bank's daily withdrawal limit. Halkbank, ING Bank, PTT, Ziraat Bank, and Isbank in Turkey offer fee-free withdrawals for UK debit cards, but each bank might have its own per-transaction or daily limits. For example: Halkbank & Ziraat Bank: Typically allow larger single withdrawals, but check the ATM screen for the maximum allowed in one go. Isbank: May have lower per-transaction limits but is also fee-free up to a certain daily amount. Before you travel, it’s worth confirming your UK bank’s daily ATM withdrawal limit (usually £200-£500) and if any international limits apply. Pro tip: Decline the "Dynamic Currency Conversion" (DCC) at the ATM and choose to withdraw in Turkish lira for the best exchange rate and no extra charges. Hope this helps-safe travels! 🌍💳

Well done Rayan. Looks like a windy day. Hope you at least got some views. But please don't talk about conquering the mountain. Nobody can ever do that. What you conquer by ascending a mountain is your own doubts and fears. Best wishes for the future. May you make many more ascents. Mountains can teach you so much.

Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful insights, @simonrangeley. You're absolutely right-mountains are never truly conquered. They remain steadfast, humbling us with their grandeur and teaching us profound lessons about resilience, respect, and self-discovery. Every ascent is a journey inward, as much as it is upward. I deeply appreciate your perspective and your best wishes. Here’s to embracing the wisdom of the mountains and the many journeys yet to come! 🌄

Did exchange office have card radar?
@zamirbutt8 күн бұрын
No, the exchange offices I visited didn't have free ATM machines. You might want to check with your bank for international ATM fees.

It captures the bittersweet emotions of a parting between two lovers, highlighting the delicate balance between sorrow and acceptance. بادباں کھلنے سے پہلے کا اشارہ دیکھنا میں سمندر دیکھتی ہوں تم کنارہ دیکھنا Translation: Sensing the sails unfurl before they rise, I gaze upon the ocean, you watch the shore. The opening verse sets the scene for the impending separation. The speaker, presumably the departing lover, observes the subtle signs of departure, like the sails fluttering in the breeze, while the other person, the one staying behind, fixates on the familiar shoreline. This contrast in perspectives hints at the emotional turmoil within each individual. یوں بچھڑنا بھی بہت آسان نہ تھا اس سے مگر جاتے جاتے اس کا وہ مڑ کر دوبارہ دیکھنا Translation: Parting thus wasn't easy for either of us, Yet, his lingering gaze as he turned back to see. The second verse delves into the complexities of the parting moment. Despite the inevitability of separation, the speaker acknowledges the difficulty of letting go. The mention of the other person's "lingering gaze" adds a touch of tenderness and longing, suggesting a deep connection that transcends the physical distance.
