Haha yep - that belt breaks every other year and I always forget the trick to get it on there. Figured i'd change it out while it's still nice out and record it for next time it breaks :) Making a ribs (st louis and beef short ribs) video tomorrow though!

Tomorrow morning, I will be testing this! I have had this going on for well over a year and have cleaned the track, dry lubed the rollers and spring and cleaned all around the sensors to make sure all spider webs and leaves and dirt is swept away and the sensors have been cleaned with a bit of alcohol on a paper towel. The garage doors sounds so smooth going up and down now, but it bounces back up anywhere from 3 to 6 or 7 times before I can finally get it to quit and stay down!! I'm a widow and the hubs always knew what and how to fix these things since he built this house. Now KZbin has had to step in and take his place on both household and vehicle things. I'm just so grateful for you KZbinrs because I can't afford a repairman or a mechanic for everything that messes up!! Plus, I really like to try to fix as much as I can by myself. Thank you!❤

When you use ground meat this way, almost all of the fat and its flavor drains away. 80% lean makes a better burger (as long as you don't overcook it), but I would use the leanest ground beef available for this, as long as its price isn't out of line.

I just picked one up today at Lowe's. They had the display model on clearance for $160. Picked it up, took it home and found that the fire box was missing. Took it back and they swapped me out for a brand new one in box. SCORE!!

Don't know if this will help, but mine are two little nobs that I wouldn't have seen if the cover for the light wasn't already off. Maybe yours are somewhere similar?
