Pls some one reply ….. in th very beginning of th concert Ustad plays th swaramandal …that too fr three or four seconds nd th raga Saraswati itself blossomed for identification… is there bridges in swaramandal like in Sitar or Veena to produce different notes … ? Being a South Indian, I didn’t saw swaramandal at all…How this is possible….? Plz some one explain…On this auspicious day of Vijayadashami , also day of Vidyarambha, I selected Raga Saraswati, belongs to Godess. of Knowledge also. . . . My Dad an Saraswati Veena. Artist usd to say , there no greater wealth in this world other than KNOWLEDGE.

I loved listening to Sou. Veena Tai so attended lots of her programs even when she sang in Santa Clara, and San Jose CA when I moved to CA USA

I was very fortunate that my father loved to listen to music and Marathi Natak. He made me go for Chota Gandharv program since it was his last program and my High School Secondary final was the next day. My father still made me go for that Program. He said, "Final Exam will come next year but Chota Gandharva you will miss for ever. So, I attended the program and Passed the Final in Good grades. My father, I remember for ever.

Listening to this voice you are in another world altogether. Thank you.

My college Days, we used to attend Veenatai, Prabha Atre , Suresh Haldankar and a few more every Saturday wherever their show was, my friend and I used to attend till 2 in the morning sometimes. Coming home those hours without fear. Very Happy days in Nagpur.
