I got the same problem with optiplex 3040 Fixed it. I just removed the ram and cleaned it with a brush and put it in the other ram slot rather than the old slot, boom working great. 👍

Can you put a video card on this type of computer? I have the v241eak model and my video card is integrated in the intel i5 processor and sometimes it refreshes for 5 seconds, the monitor closes and reappears, it's really annoying and I think it's from the video card in the processor. I'm going to upgrade the RAM from 16GB to 32GB and then see if the monitor still shuts down like this.

Ho fatto lo stesso lavoro e sono molto soddisfatto. Il PC è diventato molto veloce. Ho però una domanda.. adesso vendono degli slot di acciaio per l'ossidazione del disco.. non so se forse sia meglio togliere il nastro adesivo ed attaccare l'hard disk direttamente tramite questi slot
