Hello! I was wondering if you wash the sea glass before you use it?
@SeaGlassArtbyJackie4 күн бұрын
I wash it as I find it and then only if it’s really dusty do I rewash it before using it. I find that just with handling it the oils on my hands are enough to make it clean as I work with it. Enjoy the videos. Thanks for watching.

Jackie: I love sea glass. But, I don't live in an area on the coast where I can find it and it is expensive to buy. Do you have any ideas where I can locate or buy some for a reasonable price? Thanks, and thank you for all of your most helpful videos. Blessings to you.
@SeaGlassArtbyJackie17 күн бұрын
It depends on where in the world you are re the availability as it is heavy and expensive to ship if you do buy it. I don’t buy or sell as I have my own supply I’ve collected at the beach but I believe some sea glass Facebook groups sell. Craft quality should be cheaper than jewelry quality. Be careful of getting authentic as some people sell glass that isn’t real sea glass. Good luck.

Your work is stunning, Your explanation was fantastic step-by-step. Was the sea glass glued on the outside of the glass frame ? Thank you so much for your time❤.
@SeaGlassArtbyJackie25 күн бұрын
Thanks. Yes. I attach it directly on top of the glass in the frame. I love the texture of this method and you can really enjoy the sea formed frostiness of the glass.

Have you noticed any of the silicone adhesives yellowing over time?
@SeaGlassArtbyJackieАй бұрын
Not the silicone or adhesive caulking but I have seen all glue products do yellow over time.

I love it❤❤❤ only worry I have for the cup hook! is that really safe.. I would be scared all the time😮
@SeaGlassArtbyJackieАй бұрын
You have to be careful with the suction hooks to make sure they are well adhered to the window before hanging and only hang small pieces with them. But the metal cup hooks screwed into the woodwork of the window frame can take a lot of weight and don’t let go.

It blows my mind people actually believe everything they're told without questioning anything, people actually believe the Moon is gonna magically eclipse the Sun while it's supposedly orbiting Earth at 2,388mph & while Earth is supposedly orbiting the Sun at 67,000mph all at the same time 😂😂😂 Earth is flat or level & stationary & that wasn't the Moon that eclipsed the Sun, it was a dark non luminous orb or the black Sun Rahu or Ketu or both, they're what eclipses the Sun & Moon

Not a marble. It’s a beautiful white pebble. I pick up many of those and use them in my mosaic artwork.
