Gday mate. I'm core drilling through exposed agg concrete with quartz. Very hard. It's taking over an hour a hole. Is this because I'm running too much water through it? It's glazing very quick

I wonder, in the case it would jam, and the safety clutch wouldn't work well, is your leg able to stop the handle without enjuring yourself?
@DP-sx2pt2 жыл бұрын
This one looks more powerful than mine, and I'm pretty sure mine doesn't have a clutch, but you really need a good grip and be ready for if/when it snags... Also mine is a dry drill used on brick and block rather than concrete not sure how much difference that makes

Do you need to make a special fitting to hook the garden sprayer to the drill?

Thanks Guys - I was wondering how I would drill with no centre bit to get me started - a wood template of course - so easy but I wouldn't have thought of it !
@MR-nl8xr5 жыл бұрын
What do you do when you hit rebar.
@coredrillingsuppliesptyltd96335 жыл бұрын
Some people might drop down a speed (slower) depending on the diameter you are drilling. Otherwise reduce the pressure you apply to the drill keeping a steady pace until through the rebar.

While using the vacuum pump and base have you ever had a situation where the base has released from the floor. And does the vacuum pump base system leave any marks on the tile/paver surface

noob question but how do they get it straight when lining it up? I'm picturing someone doing the whole thing and it being crooked or slanted
@coredrillingsuppliesptyltd96337 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response. On the machine there is a guide wheel, which is used to follow a chalk line or marked line.
@edwardbarber54254 жыл бұрын
Chalk line it, them paint the line with a clear paint, let it dry. This will keep the water from washing the chalk line away.
