Hey mate, have you hurd or seen a polypterus catching a small schooling fish like a cardinal tetra? I've kept them over 10 years ago and mine were slow passive eaters. Anyway, my point is, 6 tetra are down to 3. I'm not crying about their loss but didn't think the senegalus was slick enough catch them. My worry is I see no bodies and I'm hoping they have been eaten and not decaying somone and being a potential amonia spiker.
@JERZEEHOTBOY13 күн бұрын
Yes they are in their belly's. They will eat anything that will fit in their mouths. And are pretty tricky. Will sometimes pretend to be cool. And swimming around fish then out of nowhere gulp!

Minimum tank size for single 8 inches Delhezi Bichir 🙏
@BryanLa19 күн бұрын
footprint is a little more important. assuming your del is captive bred. 18in wide tank should be sufficient. maybe 4-5 feet long too since theyre active swimmers. it depends if its a WC or CB fish

Sealed filtration causes mass problems it’s builds extremely harmful bacteria

Sorry boring tanks with nothing in them are definitely boring for the fish also. If you had a planted tank they wouldn’t sit there looking miserable 24/7 they would be roaming around.

hi, yes the larger the pvc the faster the water drains once its out of the water. the thinner the better. like how a straw can hold water for a very long time

I think you just call those quick connect fittings, as a bulkhead is a structural support wall usually found on ships, boats ,etc. Great video, I'm looking into something like this myself. I refuse to pay for stuff I can build myself.

Nice fish bro!!! But a word of advice... I saw all of whatever you put on those leach straight into the aquarium... Me personally I would NEVER EVER spend money on that bullshit vitamins they sell... Your better off using that money on different foods... U gotta treat those like piranhas as far as what you feed them meaning anything 😂 that's flesh... Switch it up with various types of fish shrimps and any and all shell fish... From time to time some small chunks of beef ... And chicken chunks... They will absolutely love it you'll see a huge difference and it's not a rip off . But all of your fish are well taken care of...
