Hello! I enjoyed this video! I know my message is a couple of years old, but if you're still checking comments on this post, I would love to know what is directly in front of the cabin? On the deck plan on the RC website, it's a light brown picture of something--stairs maybe? Just curious if there are elevators in front of room 9234, stairs, etc? Thank you!

When we were on Oasis when it was new the suite lounge was on a lower floor. So they must have changed the location on Harmony.

Do you happen to remember the electrical outlet situation in this suite? Hard to tell from the video. Both of my parents sleep with a CPAP machine and require an outlet near the bed? If there aren't outlets, will the cabin steward provide an extension cord- do you know? thx! Great vid by the way.

On this ship, which is a little older, is a bit scarce on outlets as opposed to the newer ships. The outlets are at the dressing table and don't have USB outlets - You"d be wise to bring a power strip and cube adapters for the USB devices. We really like this ship as we were on it for its inaugural sailing and many times since. We were bummed when they took it from Florida and moved it to California. I recommend having a cocktail in the Bamboo Room - Very unique setting on Deck 5 - Hope you enjoy the trip. 🙂

Hi, thanks for the informative video! Weird question but let’s say you visited the suite lounge during breakfast time and wanted to dine in the coastal kitchen. Could you just cross over and sit down anywhere or would you have to inform one of the servers in the Costal Kitchen about getting a table first? Thanks!

Thank You for watching - Yes you have to walk over to the other side and let them know you'd like a table - there is a podium there with a host who will seat you. You can generally just walk in for breakfast or lunch but it's wise to get a reservation for dinner.

Thank you for the reply - I honestly don't know/remember what we paid. A lot of the rooms we get are discounted due to my wife being a Casino Royale VIP. Believe me we pay for it one way or another.

The Grand suites, Owners suites, and Royal suite are on deck Ten makes it handy to just go up one flight of steps to the Windjammer and pool deck

So far you said RCL tends to accuse its guest for taking things from mini fridge and charging you for it ...and also the AC is messing up again.......do you have a lot of issues with RCL?

Did the bathroom have a lip that you had to step up onto? My husband is in a wheelchair and we were wondering if he could use this room. No wheelchair accessible suites that have concierge.

There was not a lip that I recall and I'm quite sure a wheel chair would get through - I know we had no issues when we had the royal suite on Navigator of the Seas as my wife was in a wheel chair the first day as she slipped on a wet floor in a public restroom that had no "wet floor" signs - it was a mess but she was able to get in and out of both bathrooms in that particular suite - Good luck and thanks for watching - you can go to Royal suite Navigator of the seas Mike Cruz and check out that one - you may like it better - Thanks Again

@@mikecruz9867 it’s not my job and obviously not your either. Stick to what you can actually do. Our son made platinum on Carnival by his 11th birthday. He is also Platinum on Royal and has status on Norwegian. Even with all of our cruising we don’t make horrible videos that waste people’s time because again, we aren’t good at it. Neither are you!

It's still a nice ship - point of interest - if you look at the top deck you will see a large white metal arch - this is where they actually cut the ship in half and added about a seventy foot section and welded it back together - you don't see this on the sister ships. I was a bit sad that a few weeks ago we were on Symphony and docked next to Enchantment in Cozumel - Enchantment was looking pretty rough with a lot of rust stains on the exterior - I think it needs another dry dock update - happy cruising

Perhaps you ment Ovation of the seas. I have not been on that ship as that class of ship leaves out of the upper east coast as well as a lot of Alaska cruises and I've been spoiled by just driving across the state of Florida and get on a ship out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale

Good video. Thanks for taking time to share it! Interesting to compare cruise lines. Carnival owner suites are the equivalent of 7 balcony rooms, about twice as big as RCL's and there are only 2 on each ship.. Any suite is nice, but this one doesn't compare well to other cruise line owner's suites. Still, I'd take it, if the price is right!

The maker of this video is incorrect about access to the Suite Lounge. Although Junior Suite can eat dinner in Coastal Kitchen, access to the Suite Lounge is limited for Grand Suite and above and Pinnacle members only. I suppose you can bring your own stick up lights to put on the deck for your use. Wanting a bigger suite with a table and chairs so my friends and I can play hand and foot all night long.

I can't remember the last time our suite balcony had a light. Not sure if it's a safety issue or?? but haven't seen one in many, many years on any ships. Good video. Same basic Owners Suite layout, just nicer, (newer) finishes/furnishings...

Probably more of a "lets cut more costs". Went on Independence of the seas last month and it has a balcony light. Going on Mariner of the seas next week to see the 120 million refurb - they added abunch of stuff as well as stuffing in around 60 plus cabins - thanks for the reply

No - We got hooked on RCCL twenty plus years ago and haven't tried another line.
