My husband and I met with very similar circumstances that you both did. But our story didn’t start at a target, it started at a department store restaurant. My husband was the dishwasher and I was the server and I was only 15 years old and he would tease me a lot, but I didn’t understand that the teasing was because he liked me. Long story short, we got married and had two children. Sadly cancer has taken him from us when our son was only 11 years old and our daughter 16 years old. They are now 28 and 33 years old. He was and still is such a blessing to our family. His love for us and our love for him did not die with him. It is still strong today. So although we live in grief, we also feel very blessed that we had such an amazing father and husband in our lives.❤️🙏

I honestly have only seen your show a few times. I have no idea why these podcast episode popped up or why I felt compelled to watch these last two episodes about Danielle’s life…hearing your story about your faith really struck me. I grew up Protestant and am a Catholic Convert. And what drew me to the Catholic Church is maybe what you never truly experienced, which is Jesus present in the Eucharist! Unfortunately so many cradle Catholics were taught to “do” the Catholic faith and not know anything about it or LIVE the faith; the history, the traditions, Jesus, the sacraments etc. I am so glad that your journey with your husband brought you feeling closer to Jesus, how amazing! I would just want to encourage you to connect with your Catholic faith on a different level than maybe you were ever taught. You have all the graces through the sacraments that you received. And there are SO many resources out there for you to pray with. Praying for you and your family!! ❤

I met my significant other in history class 11th grade. I would pick on him and he get mad at me and the teacher would send him to the principals office and after spending some time together with mutual friend we decided we liked each other And after eight years of dating, he finally asked me to marry him at the fair on St. Patrick’s Day. We’ve been married for 11 years and been together for 20. And have a wonderful little girl together.

I have also been following since day 1. My story feels like too much to type but I wanted to say that the part that touched me was the story about Blayke. I absolutely love her ( and all of you ). It makes me sad that sometimes people rush towards the quints and not her. You are all amazing so please let her know that she is an amazing young woman. Thank you for all that you do to include us and be transparent 🥰

My late husband and I were set up on a blind date by his neighbor who i worked with. I gave him my number he never called. So I figured he wasn't interested. Finally my co worker asked for my number again. I was like what the heck. Finally in dec 2006 he called. I was at the store Christmas shopping. But he asked if I wanted to go to husband friends birthday party at a steak house. I said sure. My co worker said he was a big guy. So every guy that walked into the restaurant i was see if they were fat and possibly him. Finally a 6'7" guy walked in. I'm 5'4" I was looking up and was like are you dave. He said yes. He let me order whatever I want. I just got what he got. Then he invited me over to his friends to eat birthday cake. I went. I drove myself. I was unsure about him. After we ate cake I went home. I didn't think he was cute or my type. But wanted a friend. So we went out as friends. After a few months my co workers said I was in love. I said no I don't like him like that. I guess I did. Because that December on his friends birthday we got engaged dec 2007. Got married in July 2008. We had our son march 2013 and then he passed away dec 2 2022.

The love story that resonated with me was the one with the cancer battle. I'm currently a wheelchair user which isn't meant to be a permanent situation but this season of life is lasting longer than expected (joint and bone issues). Long story and much background info here, but in short I have kind of shut myself down and removed myself from the dating scene. Aside from trust issues based on bad previous relationships, I struggle with shame, low self esteem, low self worth and lack of self acceptance. I can't picture myself dating and meeting someone willing to deal with a "disabled" person. Maybe one day that will change and/or I'll experience healing that I'm praying for. Love you guys, your show and this podcast. You are such an inspiration and source of hope especially with the faith related stories. Blessings from Chicago! ❤

Thanks for sharing, your story is very similar to ours. We went through years of unsuccessful trying. Had IUI twice on medication with no luck. IVF was then the way, first time fell pregnant with twins, sadly had pre term labour at 25 weeks, with both babies passing within 5 days of birth. Continued through the rest of our embryos which was 3 more attempts with no success. Now have a 15 and 13 year old through adoption.

I had one miscarriage at 3 months and had to do a d and c. No one in our families had a problem. The girl at work was pregnant at the same time so I had to go through her pregnancy. Then months later I had another miscarriage. Finally got pregnant and now my son is 32 years old.

🙋♀️ Danielle I totally relate to inflammation flare-ups; watching church on-line; while in bathtub 🛀 My husband and I also related to infertility. With the added 💔 of friends and family announcing babies after we had a misscarage or more. We have 2 rainbow babies who are now 16 and 20. We have 7 babies living in Heaven; who we are looking forward to meeting one day. PTL we have that assurance in Jesus 🙏 from Saskatchwan 🇨🇦
