The Flow Frame consists of partly pre-formed honeycomb cells. The bees complete the comb with their wax, fill the cells with nectar, which they turn into honey, and cap the cells as usual. Working with bees you will eventually get stung even when fully suited up it is a matter of time and if you are allergic we recommend not keeping bees. Check with your GP regarding action if you do get stung also as it is important to be prepared. -Kieran

@@FlowHive thanks so much. I raised a question earlier and hope you can help. I live in a rainforest and moisture is always an element/issue to deal with and keep up. I noticed on my FH2 moisture along the observation ports which seemed high (more condensation than I thought I’d see). It could be a plastic visual which may be present in my wood Langstroth boxes but not sure. I guess what I can’t see in wood doesn’t mean it isn’t there, lol. Any thoughts on ways to vent moisture without disturbing the heat needed in the colony? Thanks. I’m a new “Flow bee” and love it, just want to keep the girls happy and productive. I inspect my hives every ten days or so.
