Old mtb bike trail, Colin probably knows who was building int there and making the mtn bike ramps. Used to have shovels and rakes stashed up there. I haven't been there in years.
@justinpryde1Ай бұрын
yup, lots of old shovels and rakes scattered around. I believe there's someone in there recently cutting new trails, crazy steep and off camber!

Great work and what an epic trail. May I know where this trail head is? I am from Toronto, and ride a DR650 and would love to plan a trip here, possibly next summer. :) TIA

I was impressed with the way you handled the big pig on the trail. I dont think I could have taken my DR in there.
@justinpryde1 Жыл бұрын
It was a challenge for sure, but a very rewarding ride. Definitely would be easier on a proper Enduro bike but it's fun taking the big DR to places it shouldn't be!

Good job boys. I should came out with you, it looked super fun.

They do keep that road plowed as a few of the houses are occupied year round and sleds and quads run the trail over the winter. As for going up Turtle in the winter on a bike it actually can be easier as everything is smoothed out, but you have to stay in the packed down tracks of the quads. No need to replace that cover, that patch job was mint!

Do you still have either baffle?
@justinpryde1 Жыл бұрын
Nope, sold that bike a couple years ago
@timkis64 Жыл бұрын
unless you rejetted your carbs, theres a 90% chance you will lose power.they were jetted borderline lean anyway, removing the baffles can only lean it out more reducing power & ridability.

I just wanted sound. I didn't feel any gains or losses with the baffles out. I bought it with 32000km and sold it with 72000km so it worked well for me!

Brian Ingles I drilled out the 4 rivets heads and popped them through, vice grips on the center pipe like I showed, another vice grip clamped to the first one and hammer against it. Spray the edges with some deep creep or rust penetrator
