We are not fishing for Dolphin, and in reality neither is the big Purse Seine vessel. They are targeting Yellowfin Tuna schools. However their circle-net approach accidently catches Porpoises (dolphin), Marlin, Sailfish, and other rare species. This is why Purse Seine vessels are under scrutiny for their fishing tactics. In this video it is their proximety to shore that is illegal.

Awesome rig. Whats your top speed , cruise speed and economy like?

Thanks. Top speed about 38mph, easy cruise at 30mph. Usually we get 2 miles per gallon. The construction is all fiberglass, epoxy, and coosa wood so it is really light and strong. No wood in the whole boat.
