I know this is an old video but hopefully you see this. Need to replace both front hub assemblies on my 2012 drw, the passenger side is obvious that its the hub assembly. The driver side grinds so it definitely needs a new hub assembly but there is also play at the axle shaft going into the front axle. Not sure if itd be the u- joints or the axle itself at fault. Any advice?

The fca fuel control actuator has a plunger on the inside and if you shake the fca you should hear the plunger moving back and forth if you shake it and you don’t hear anything chances are that the plunger is stuck inside if you will take the fca and put it on your vise and take a hammer and hit the backside of the fca and you can free up the plunger it’s a quick fix to get you off the side of the road but definitely change it out when the new one comes in the mail
