@jb360 one thing im confused about as a new Electric bike owner, and owner of the macfox x2, does the bike chain not do anything? Can I remove it to improve the aesthetics of the bike? Also, what do i need to place the phone in the middle console?

Yes so I removed the chain from mine because I'm not pedaling anyways it's just for show. You don't need the chain. You can just use your phone for GPS speed that's about it and if you want to check the temperature of your controller.

👍 Nice... Do you know how people are getting 60 mph off 60v system while others only get 50s on 72v ? I assume its controller but is it matter of preserving lifespan of batteries? You would think people would want highest amp possible? Thanks, and love your content!!

@@kevinduprey9326 thanks! So yes like you mentioned, it's mainly the controller and the type of BMS the battery is suited with. On the flip side, 72v batteries will always be better on the range side than 60v, since they take longer to discharge from their starting voltage.

@@JB360_NYC . NICE, obtained some 80v green works batteries and will harvest the good ones. I was thinking about getting solder less kit because I'm not to good at it. Unfortunately I know from making vape devices that every added connection causes voltage drop. Vaping with hybrid mechanical mod with direct battery contact is noticeably stronger than devices with added connections. I can only imagine the difference in EV's using hundreds of cells.

I always use mirrors I see to many people on those fast group rides who change lanes and stop dead in the middle of a bike lane without knowing what's behind them and course accidents and still think they can ride just because they can do a wheelie but know nothing about road safety.🚦🛑

Hey Jeff why don't you have someone weld you up a small bracket to mount your pegs down under you that way you won't have them popping up on you maybe, plus it would put your legs in a better riding position. Just a thought for you. It's great to see you wearing gloves i never ride without them never.

Nice lil ride thru the highways of the Island ..... I am amazed by the speed that thing goes and it even looks like it runs quite smooth without any vibration...Job well done ! I watched a lil bit of the assembly , but i did not get to watch it all . .... Now this makes me wanna go back and watch it from the beginning ...

If I'm charging at 5amps it can take about 6 hours. If I'm charging at 10 amps, about 4 hours

Nice riding JB..your really moving on this bike..Great Video too 👍 I've just bought a new 72v 3000w 28" wheel kit from Ali Express for my hardtail mountain bike for using on roads like you do. Any preference on which fardriver controller and battery combination would be best for over 60mph speeds my friend?

How are you 🙋 We want to upgrade a scooter with 2 fardriver 72450 and they are telling us that the second controller (front motor) that will take signal from throttle will have a delay from the first (rear motor)... Question is..: Do you have problems on the road? When you turn throttle controllers cooperate right it's other?🤔 You are the only ONE i know how make a scooter with 2 fardriver... Your answer will be very serious for me to continue the process...🤙🙏😘

Hey Antony, so depending on who's building it, some people will want a delay in the front motor/controller so the scooter won't be out of control on take off. It's very common for people to want that but if you're like me, I don't mind having both motors and controllers spinning at the same time because I like the burnouts lol. As long as you can control the torque, running two motors without delay should be fine. It's just a matter of preference.

Ordered a few weeks ago, they keep pushing back their delivery date...... lollll. Hope i dont regret buying it. Worried i wont get as much speed as im wanting because I weigh 215. cutting down to 200 atm but still.

@@beauxdishon1010 I'm at 200 and it can move heavier because of the dual motors. Absolute beast of a scooter but yea it took a couple of weeks to get.
