Nice work by the drum major. Takes guts to do a flat palm spin as part of a salute.

Correction that is a flight if airmen as in u.s.a.f There is no rank of private it is airman for one stripe and goes up to the next rank from there.those ranks are strictly for the army and marine corps.l was a member of the the USAF and earned my first stripe in basic training.

Band is VERY GOOD but you would think with all the Color Guard members and flag bearers they would have used 4 members for an HONOUR GUARD 2 rifles or sabres , the US and the State flag!!!!!!

May I also add to this amazing High School band is the instrument groups are dispersed evenly through out the band, for this reason the band has a well balanced sound. Lastly if you will notice the band members have memorized the music. There is no sheet music in front of them. Well done Arcadia !

Probably the best High School band I have ever heard. Better than some collage bands. Arcadia High School must have one fantastic music department. I give them a lot of credit for their performance. May it continue to set a example of perfection and education for the young.

to the color guard please watch your timing and make sure you don't have sails. it's noticable and it makes y'all look off beat. but all in all great job

@@richardbates3272 hi Richard I'm Jamie Gifford. to be honest all you have to do is look at videos of a band. it's very noticeable when you see a flag spinner just a little bit off . they do the routine a little bit slower than the other people. and you get sails when the silk is on the Pole instead of fluttering while being spun.

I don't think people realize how many hours these kids put in practicing their routines AND MARCHING, MARCHING, MARCHING up and down the football field mornings and after school. They put in more time practicing than the football team!!! AND IT SHOWS WHEN THEY MARCH WITH PRIDE IN A PARADE!!
@jbtrains5 жыл бұрын
baumcollc same I don’t mean to sound like a Debby downer but I don’t believe this is a marching band in the sense if they do field shows. Seeing the lack of marching brass yet high quality of instruments, it seems they have the funding but choose not to. In the marching world we call these bands parade and show bands. I think these kids are good but I’ll tell you, it doesn’t take much to be in a parade band.
@jbtrains5 жыл бұрын
I actually stand corrected. They do field shows but oddly enough choose to torture their brass. Beats me why but hey. Not my pain to live with
