Naja.........Sie hat es Versucht..........Die Stimme hat sie Zwar überhaupt nicht für die Musik der 20er und 30er aber ok. Das einzige was wirklich Meisterhaft war ist das Orchester aber ne andere Sängerin wär schön gewesen

To those complaining about Nina's take on the tune, it is way more respectful to both the song and to music in general, than Lilian Harvey's hopeless rendition with her vocal shortcomings: you are mixing up style and interpretative quality. One may say Puccini is shit compared to Mozart, but you can't pretend Callas' Tosca is shit only because you can't tolerate verismo.

Nina Hagen hat es leider in sehr jungen Jahren in England zugelassen, verschandelt, wenn nicht gar geschändet worden zu sein

people don't expect appropriate when they hire Nina Hagen to sing. She's been a campy enterteiner for decades and everybody know her type of humor onstage. The only disrespect are those boring people looking weird and emotionless while she delivers such a gracious performance.
