Please keep your gloves on even for shampooing and conditioning. Water is actually the alkaline chemical to our skin so keep your precious hands as protected as possible

This is such an early 2000s nostalgia moment! Having more of a teardrop pattern for the darker tone would have let the lighter pink come thru softer and less chunky. Anyway great precision and such a vibe 🫦

Hello there, I was just curious if you are using Velcro rollers and then using the sticks to secure it? I am taking over for my friend's Mom as her hairdresser retired 😊. Beautiful work 😀 she looks lovely 😻

This was very satisfying. I was taught that continually brushing the section of the hair will have your client start to worry about the cut. Also, you are able to have the client look left / right over their shoulders to trim the two front quadrants to match the back perimeter.

I thought I read that one should just rinse off the colour but not shampoo for 48 hours.?

what is the ettherage technique that you keep mentioning? I don't think I'm spelling it right but it sounded something like that.

This is something I last saw being done routinely in the mid to late 70's. I had NO idea it was still being done for any one other than the oldest of the elderly. It seems really weird to me that folks are still being trained, other than that there are still some folks from the 60's that prefer this style. It's beautiful, if not time consuming and expensive these days (and takes some daily effort to maintain) ... IF you can find someone who knows how to do it. Kudos to anyone who knows how. It's really a lost art. This is the basis of being able to do a bee hive. Is there anyone who still knows how to do this?

But where are the layers... Can't see any?
@Laney_cdkcustoms3 ай бұрын
My thoughts exactly. I clicked on this video based on the "Layered" part of the video caption. This is just a basic straight chop cut. Point cutting doesn't constitute layers.

I thought at some point the client needs to look down and that is why I'm watching these videos as I'm trying to find out when that is because in the beginning of the haircut as of what I think I've been taught and that doesn't feel right.

some people do have different textures of hair type in the nape. Mine is shorter at the nape and the rest of the crown hair is super longer. How to cut such hair types to get a fuller look?
