Personally I prefer age related songs on a vintage Jukebox. Anything post 1962- 1964 sound better suited to mid 60s onwards jukeboxes.
@Jukebox45s3 ай бұрын
I purchased this model many years ago from someone who was repairing old jukeboxes. That person is no longer available and I was hoping you could help me since it seems you know a lot about jukeboxes. Records with a lot of percussion suddenly began skipping much more often. Another issue that may be related is the needle usually slides into the starting grooves before resting. So the first few seconds of a record are cut off during play. Would you know someone who might be able to give me pointers or come out to fix? The jukebox is in Eastern Iowa. Thanks.

@pinjuke10 ай бұрын
@@vinylman1973return - you can't buy a large hole 45 of this song. The only version available (that I am aware of) is the small hole 45, pressed in Germany. You have to either buy a dinker or find someone who will dink the record for you to make a large hole.

Nice, but I would think "The Wayward Wind" by Gogi Grant should be an all time 78 r.p.m. on a Juike Box! I had some relatives that had a Juke Box and Pool Table in their basement back in the early sixties. They had many great records! Thank you for the upload!!
@mrmele11 ай бұрын
This ist great! Thanks for the clip. But 78s weren't only pressed until 1959. In countries like India or the Philippines they've made them till the late 60s. There are for example some wonderful shellac records by The Beatles.
@pinjuke11 ай бұрын
After 1958 the production of 78's in the U.S. were cut dramatically as 45's were outselling 78's. Yes, they continued to make 78's in other countries until the mid 60's. I've seen several Beatles songs on 78.
