I have been the target of people's repressed hatred at their own mothers' or mothers' substitutes more times than I can count. Less qualified men demagogues win elections because they give their supporters the desperately needed scapegoats. Many people have mommy issues and are full of hatred. Their mothers are protected from their hatred, but they take revenge on all other women and other scapegoats. They are driven by the dead hand of their unresolved childhood repression to vote for demagogues.

not at all. India has given me nothing. my "own country" betrayed me, and not just me, everyone with merit and talent. Talent is highly suppressed in India because of reservations and our backward mindset. A girl completed her medical courses, worked in her field and on 9th August 2024 her own countrymen abused and unalived her. If she had gone to the UK like the hundreds of thousands other doctors who did, she would get: 1) A great quality of living. 2) Good pay 3) Less stressful work environment 4) And most importantly, she'd still be alive. This country doesn't deserve anything. We are the definition of "this is why we can't have nice things." A new metro line opened up in my city and it took less than 24 hours for people to start spitting in it. My advice is never feel guilty if you want to improve your life, not worth wasting it for this country. The first world needs the good lot of us. Canada made a huge mistake by letting the wrong people in and now they're in trouble. USCIS did a good job filtering in the good ones.
