I wish premo in particular had more florescent colors, like a green, blue, orange and purple to add to the yellow and pink. I find when you add a fluorescent color to a regular color it makes it more intense while not keeping it too light colored.

This is not so professional way to use a product . Why in the world you put the liquid clay in a bottle that needs to empty? If this is separated the last thing you need is a bottle with a small opening !!!😮😮😮😮

I go about my colors slightly different. I'd make a rough drawing of whatever i'm sculpting and digitally color it in whatever colors i think would work best, then id make those colors in clay while writing down what colors and how many of those colors went into making them, then id cut out squares of that colors to save them as my color swatches, those are 20mm squares, then once i bake them i make a hole on one end to string them later. I'd come up with a name for that color and on the back label them (carve the name into the baked clay, then paint there white and then add black paint in the carved recesses), then gloss varnish part of it on the back so i can see how rich the color gets after varnishing. The swatches would be stringed in a rainbow order, like reds morphing into oranges, oranges morphing into yellows, yellows morphing into greens and so on. I also make smaller pieces from each color that i store randomly in a bin as my random color chooser. Basically when i want to be spontaneous i randomly pick out those colors and arrange them to see what looks good with what, they don't get varnished or labeled, they're just for randomness. I decided to do it that way because i always get stuck for hrs trying to mix the perfect color for my projects and i thought i'm just going to catalog every color i make from now on. I also store each color in sheet bags, like the clays sandwiched between plastic sleeves and they're stored in compartments in binders, that way i know when i need to make more of that color when i see the labeled bags empty. I also have a mix recipe for translucent clays. I only mix translucent with 1 color for that recipe, in my case it's white translucent with turquoise color clay. In the past i always messed up my projects getting the color to translucent ratio wrong making them too opaque, so now i have them ready to see how much of what goes into what to make a certain level of translucency. Yeah i'm being extra but it's apparently a necessity with me because i tried it different in the past and it was a hot mess, i have to be this level of organized, the number of clays and time i wasted then.

With all due respect I'm sure that this product is excellent for doing arts and crafts but there are no tutorials on how to use it to repair any kind of glass or ceramic. I had to return to crazy glue and baking soda to repair an old cookie jar. This product did not bake correctly it stayed goopy for way too long and it never could be sanded. This is a tip for the company .Please upload more videos on the variables for the use of your product otherwise we are just creating things that end up at the garage sale table.

I don’t believe polymer clay, which is a plastic product, is not intended for repairing ceramics or glass.

Three sections of audio overlap, and the video ENDS at 14:16, but the posted video is 41:42, so there's three times the length of the actual video that's just black screen. That's....pretty unprofessional. But I do love the colors that include concrete. ;-)

I have recently had a pair of polymer earrings with gold flake details tarnish and fade. I am pretty sure I used a matte varnish on them. Perhaps they didn’t even need anything to seal them. Do you have any advice?? Or does anyone reading this? Thanks!!!!🙏
@o0oAeyao0o2 ай бұрын
I'm about to use some gold leaf as well. To seal, I plan to use UV resin. Perhaps that should do the trick?
@chunkyclaydesigns2 ай бұрын
@ uv resin for sure will do the trick! Do you have a resin brand you recommend that won’t yellow? I was a frequent resin user until many of my earrings began to yellow over time. The name I used was Light Cure UV Resin.
@christinas569121 күн бұрын
I would suggest using real gold leaf. Imitation gold leaf tarnishes over time, from oils from hands and from ammonia in acrylics.

1:01 I want to buy some of the sculpey silicone forms you use, but I am finding it hard to locate a source. The selections in Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Amazon are skimpy. I tried searching for another dealer by going to the sculpey website, but the options are to choose an international source or to become a dealer. Since you are a rep, I hope you can help me find a source in the USA. I want the form that included the seashell. Thank you in advance for helping me. Arlia Olive North Port, Florida

4:09 that was the unmistakable sound of the well known important tiny metal thing falling which we all know youre never going to find again lol
@citrusbutter77185 ай бұрын
The metal coffee stirs with the paddle and ball ends are what i use to mix my liquid clays in their bottles. I use the paddle end to mix it. I used to use a bamboo skewer but the wood always bent under pressure and it was harsh on the hands, if anyone wants a permanent good solution and simplifying it, get a stainless-steel coffee stir.
