Hey Anthony. Great insights. A quick one. You spoke of "the knuckles turning white..." or something like that. I am a black man, so I am just wondering, "where you speaking to all of us generally, or more specifically? (without putting too fine a point on it). Cheers.

Hey, glad you enjoyed the video. It was more just making reference to as tension in the hands increase it reduces blood flow creating a visible identifier of tension.

@@AnthonyLaye yeah it's great work for sure. Thanx for your response. The promptness is truly a bonus. So the point I was trying to make as much in tongue-in-cheek, was that in my opinion, I mean you have a diverse audience, so to be inclusive, maybe it would be helpful to avoid examples that apply to "1 race and not another". For example, blacks don't visibly blush so if you give that example, then I feel like you discount me and so how do I continue feeling you are also talking to me. Maybe I overthink things. But the point is important to me. Am sure you could have explained it differently. Cheers.

Another excellent video...and great editing, some of your best work, thanks for posting. I can’t leave without pointing out that you mentioned some very influential people, Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Mother Teresa, but with no reference to Ita Buttrose a small complaint I know but I must get that off my chest. I tell you I’m really enjoying your recent videos.

Unfortunately it is I who is the narcissist… and I can confirm that these are true. A good narcissist knows how to keep his head on straight though 😅

Here's a sign. They won't shut up. They have ideas of grandiose. They won't let you sleep. They hate their mother. They are charming around other people and then when alone act different. They have no boundaries and keep you on the phone for hours. Constantly texting you. Wanting access to your phone and email. Do not do it. I recommend nobody stay with a narcissist. They move the relationship quickly and want to marry you really quickly.
@AnthonyLayeАй бұрын
Great comment @dukeleach, some great tips as other things to look out for and 110% to your point 'Do Not Do It' 👏
@dukeleachАй бұрын
They use your heart and religion against you as a weapon. Funny story I moved out all my clothes and my belongings. He never looked in the closet. He only noticed 2 books missing. I did this over a month of time. So, when I did lailundry at the laundry mat I took out my clothes, and brought his back inside. Do not be afraid to leave they will never notice your clothes or shoes missing.

hello sir, I have a quick question if you don't mind, thanks! I get very nervous during speeches and social situations. And when I’m nervous, I forget what I wanted to say and freeze up, which ruins my speech. I’ve been trying to change how I think, but it’s still a problem. Do you have any tips to help with this? Thanks!
@AnthonyLayeАй бұрын
Absolutely, you are not alone. A lot of people feel the same. Few things you can do: 1) Preparation will help you feel more confident, so know what you want to say, I personally don't script (having to remember a script makes me feel pressured), I have a couple of methods to help me remember what I want to say, one of those is a few bulleted points in large print. If you are struggling in conversations where its not a speech, memorise 3 - 5 conversation questions that you can fall back on. 2) Before a speech or conversation be aware of your body language, use confident, open body language (Amy Cuddy did a great talk TED talk on this, its easy to find if you search her name) to this day I do this before EVERY presentation. 3) During the presentation SLOW DOWN if you only did one tip from this list, this is the one I would want you to remember. I will create a KZbin video on your question in the coming weeks as it was a GREAT question and feel it needs to be unpacked more than I can write in the comments.

Anthony I have been a loyal subscriber for a long time now (since I learnt you met Ita Buttrose). I ‘like’ all of your videos, you may have noticed some of your shorts have just 1 ‘like’, that’s me. However your shorts have become a bit pedestrian, and if it wasn’t for your connection with Ita Buttrose I may have moved on already... I’ll stay for a month or 2 more, and continue to like your videos, but I can’t promise any longer than that unless you get my attention back... You’re an inventive man, entertain us please so we can grow this channel
