Awesome Video. It’s pretty interesting how Athens paints only paints the lid colors in this area. In areas where I usually film, the whole can would be painted a certain color.

Awesome find! I'm glad to see the video and its perfect timing finding it the time of day you did. I remember last time i filmed this truck, it had a blue arm and it was real jerky. Part of the arm was leaning more than the other by the grabber area and the arm was slamming into itself when retracting. The driver told me he moved the joystick and it wouldnt move until a second or two after and when it did it was super fast and jerky. Glad it looks more smoothed out with this arm. I used to see this truck almost every Friday years ago when it was out by me and the driver was super chill!!

Was the driver in 1697 named Ponce? He's a real cool driver. 1700 the normal driver is off Saturdays but on Monday he does Lake Las Vegas and does Celine Dion's house, he's known her for long time, just a fun fact.

That's cool, nice catch. I never really see diesels in my area anymore. Even the spare trucks are CNG now. The only time I've seen Republic in my area use a diesel was when they had to use a rental garbage truck.

what is the deal with the new WM branded ZRs in both 520 and Autocar ACX cabs. I've seen similar trucks pop up in Oregon as well. Is there some weird deal between WM and McNeilus or something?

From what I’ve heard, WM completely cut their ties with McNeilus so they will be buying primarily Heil and Amrep from here on out. I’m not sure why so many ZRs are popping up though, they had to have been ordered a while back.
