I was looking for spiderman 2 ps5 stutter and stumbled upon your video. I have not tried UC tho, but my ps5 stutters a lot when playing spiderman 2 ( 1080P tv )

@TreasureHunter my comment keeps disappearing which is kinda creepy... anyway: I am going to put together all my notes and contact ND as I have done a lot of testing on this recently, I will update here when/if I hear back. I know the guy on Reddit contacted ND a few weeks back and still hasn't had a response. Uncharted is the one that baffles me the most now, as on PS5 both games are launching from the same app. So why would they perform so inconsistently?! It really is driving me mad trying to understand this problem as it seems so specific! Interesting about the September patch, that could have caused it as most posts about this stutter only seem to be as old as September... I know that TLOU part 1 and 2 worked fine in September as I played them that month. Have you tested either TLOU game? Are they running badly for you too? Sorry if you already said this thread has been moving fast lol!

@@LukeeMurrayy okay thank you, I won't be paying to upgrade to the ps5 version again then, I'll stick with the ps4 version :) I don't want to go through the hassle of asking for a refund again etc

@@simmycutters3757 no problem! Wise choice, next time I play I’ll see how it performs. I’ll update here (assuming I remember lol!) and let you know how it is. But yeah, as far as I can tell no change yet, I haven’t tested myself in a while though.

Wow dude your having the same issue. I have the same issue on PS5; I noticed that the stuttering happens on Uncharted 4 PS5, Last of Us Part I Remake, and Last of Us 2. I wouldn't necessarily ask for a refund, since its mainly maybe a bug or a software issue; however, this issue tends to mainly affect most Naughty Dog games. Keep in mind this issue never happened to me before ever, so this could very likely be a software issue.

Hey did you ever figure this out?? I was playing TLOU part 1 and got most the way through the game before it randomly started stuttering one day, I kept playing and finished and started TLOU 2 to find the exact same issue. Uncharted legacy of thieves is weird, for me UC4 runs fine but stutters when loading a new area, however lost legacy does exactly what this video shows. Whenever you aim and shoot it runs so bad, stuttering all over. I can't understand the issues for Uncharted especially as these games are now the same app! All other games run fine it is clearly a Naughty Dog specific issue. We also have another PS5 in my house and when testing on that one all these games run perfect, so it only seems to be affecting certain PS5's and has only appeared (for me at least) at some point in late March. I played both TLOU games and UC last year on my PS5 and they ran perfect.

@Luke Murray it could be the model or a specific software issue that naughty dog maybe needs to patch their games to avoid those certain issues. I may have a temporary solution, tho maybe. Try putting the game on fidelity mode. That mode seems to run fine for me, tbh but only for tlou 1. Tlou 2 actually runs fine now, so maybe playstation sent out a patch to fix those issues.

@TreasureHunter again it could be a software issue with certain models due to why there aren't many ppl reporting or uploading videos like this. Cuz maybe 20% or 30% experience thos issue but the majority of the population seem to not. I've heard ppl say it's bc of the storage, but I doubt it cuz to me there's no correlation btwn the two.

@TreasureHunter Yeah exactly what you described is the same for me! Been talking to someone else over on Reddit too who has the exact same problems. I am the same, played lost legacy last Feb with no problems. Played TLOU 1 & 2 in Septermber when part 1 launched with no problems too. However sometime between 27th-29th March this year the problem appeared in TLOU 1, then was present in 2 and UC LoT when I tested those. I haven't found many people with these issues at all, have you come across many? Also uncharted collection as in the remaster of 1-3 on PS4? I only tested those quick but those and TLOU remaster seemed fine, it seems to be ND games running on their latest engine. There is no differences between the 2 PS5's at all, they're both disc versions, purchased within a few months of each other, both with the standard SSD and no additional memory installed. I did originally think it could be a memory issue as when I installed TLOU my SSD was pretty full. However I deleted a lot of stuff including TLOU and reinstalled and the issue was still present. For me TLOU 2 is definitely worse than 1, just more consistent stutters, UC4 is somewhat similar, but LL is the worst by far!

@@cjx_gaming1214 Hmm interesting, of all my testing I actually forgot to try fidelity mode haha! Tested part 2 again yesterday and the issue is definitely still there for me! I will try fidelity mode and see if that solves anything, still not ideal as the other PS5 runs them flawlessly!
