Salut, tu as répondu a mes messages dont j'étais tres reconnaissant. Je lis pas mal d'articles ou les gens se plaignent de micro chipping sur leur apo. Ca fait un moment que tu dois t'en servir, a tu remarqué ce problème ? Ou peut être tu fais exprès d'y aller doucement sur la lame? Elmax a une mauvaise réputation sur sa résistance. Merci !

Salut vgabon . On a déjà échanger sur l'étui mal ajusté. Donc juste un mot pour te dire qu'ils ont changé d'étuis pour l'apocalypse et que la garantie fonctionne pour obtenir un nouveau modèle ajusté. A+

Slt, oui toujours satisfait. Pas de gros défaut pour ma part mais si j'étais Andrius de TRC je sortirai une version Light plus légère de l'Apocalypse en retirant un ou deux mm d'épaisseur de lame.. Comme le fait Bark River avec ses couteaux...✌

Bro I have 3 keys.. And in a survival situation if I lose the 3 it's not a plastic sheath that will block my access to the knife.😂 And I know how to pick padlocks if I don't want to break the sheath...

I have this knife. It's great, but it doesn't need such polishing on the cutting edge. Elmax steel is relatively large carbide and polishing and fine sharpening lead to loss of aggressive sharpness. The large thinning of the cutting edge creates a risk of damage during rougher work due to the purpose of this knife.

Merci, c'est au niveau du Belvédère du Ranc pointu. Les deux sont supers, je trouve le Verdon encore plus sauvage, plus vaste et moins de gens dans les gorges, par contre moins facile de trouver des accès faciles.

@@vgabond3096Merci ça commence à aller bien mieux, je marche (presque) sans problème, au moins du fauteuil jusqu'aux toilettes, quand je sort, je fais la course avec les tortues, et elles ne me mettent pas un tour d'avance ! Encore quelques jours de repos et à moi la montagne (jours ?, Oups peut-être semaines... Bouh !)

Love your videos. ... In the 1981 film, 'Quest For Fire,' there's an intense scene of an ancestral human starting a fire with a technique using a bow drill, as you used in this video. However, he doesn't use a bow; rather, he spins the thin, tall drill between the palms of his hands onto the anvil board, to create the friction. It's an epic scene in a fascinating film. Enjoy!

When I transformed the edge into convex I had small chips but it did not come back after the second sharpening which thickened the convex.

This is a quality video with a quality knife and when i read the comments i can tell this guy is also a nice person. At least one that knows in which (sad) world we are living. Thank you for your comment. This world is very different from our childhood dreams... I owned a COS laminated steel f1pro. COS steel had made micro chips with me. But my trc south pole has already done it too. Now I convexify all my knives with a stone then I create a small cutting edge V...

I cant say i experienced micro chips yet with my s1pro (probably because i sharpened it myself convex on waterstones) but with my second smaller knife (lionsteel m4 in m390) i had the exact same problem. Gonna sharpen at a higher angle with those very hard steels. And yes i always imagined the world so great when i was a kid. Im still quite young but seeing what is going on right now is really sad. Forced to wear masks and do those "tests", maybe also forced to vaccine later...gonna leave my land soon probably.
