I was in my little Bears uniform and my dad and grandparents were in the other room thinking the game was over and I ran in there after the Mike Brown pick 6 yelling the Bears win the Bears win. Today, if my team goes into the 8th inning of a LCS game with a 3-run lead, I'm feeling much better than the other side, but nowhere near certain my team can hold that lead. Home runs have increased in the last 20 years, and any team that makes it to the LCS is going to have some power hitters. A walk and a single brings the tying run to the plate. And then just one hittable pitch might end up in the seats and that lead is gone.

Not only did the Marlins beat the Cubs - more incredibly they beat the DYNASTY Yankees in the World Series. Yanks had been to 5 Series in 7 years won 4. And btw - Bartman had absolutely nothing to do with the Cubs losing the damn series. They shit the bed in that inning they gave up 8 runs and they shit the bed at home in G7.
