Hello for some.reason when I change the itc zone temperature it is also controlling my ac unit temp. I cannot figure it out. Eg. If I have zone 2(itc sensor room) on 23 it will not allow me to set the main unit higher then 23. And if I drop the itc zone down to 22 it automatically brings down the unit temp control to 22.

I am not a professional aircon technician but I am a user of Air Touch4. I think I understand what you are referring to. If you have set a certain temperature on all the zone. Then the unit will work accordingly to reach your preset temperatures as that what it’s suppose to do. Try to set the % of the damper of one of the zone then you can set the AC unit temperature. But then your air touch tablet will become the thermostat to determine that temperature you set. Also it has to do with the mode you set for the ac e.g heat/cool I.e your mode is Heat. all zone set to 21 except one particular zone set damper to say 50%. Now you can set the ac unit temperature to anything higher than 21. If you are in cool mode and same scenario as above, now you can set any temperature below 21. I personally wouldn’t do that though as I let ITC to do all it works unless one particular is slow to heat up or cool down. Hope this will help

I have just had Air Touch 5 Installed. Is there a way to get some help with it? The temperature setting dial on the main screen is greyed out so I can't set the temperature of the system. I can't even find this problem described any where so I can't find how to fix it. I have read the manual and it is not mentioned here on the Videos about the system.

Hi Haydn, that will be because you have a temperature sensor in each zone and the set point is controlled by them individually. To bring back the universal control, just tap one of the zone temperatures to move it into air volume mode, then the main unit temperature controls will return.

@@airtouchsmarthome Thank you for your quick reply. It is much appreciated. Sadly there are additional complications. At the moment I have two zones on. One of them can be switched into air volume mode by taping the display box for that zone. But the other one switches from temperature to "closed". There is no way of getting it to switch to air volume mode. Setting the zone to "closed" does not activate the temperature setting dial.

Hi Haydn, that just means the zone is off. Tap the + button to open it up a bit. Otherwise, buy all means contact our support through our website and they'll be able help.

I am trying to use the Auto function for hot/cold, I find the unit seems to always have the rooms on hot and never seems to switch to cold. Also the temps for the rooms seem unregulated even though i have sensorsin each room, would this be mitigated by decreasing flow percentage for each room? I have a Mitsubishi PEAD-M125JAA, with the air touch 5.

Mine is used everyday and cleaned monthly, but it is always full of dust so maybe even fortnightly or possibly weekly depending how often it is used.

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me under the "AC Setup" tab under installers.....should it have a warning screen saying "please enable external room temperature control via AC wall controller as instructed in the Air Touch 2+ installation manual before changing the setting here. Otherwise, the chosen external control thermistor(s) may not be effective." I have called for a technician to help but no-one has got back to me as yet? The room temperature seems to be always showing around 6 degrees higher than actual.

I have done everything the video shows yet the update keeps coming up as the same update, because it never updated? I turned off the Tablet and restarted but still comes up with the update, even after I installed it. Your thoughts? This also happens on the gateway update through the installers menu.

Hi David, yes, it is possible to upgrade AirTouch 4 to AirTouch 5. Your AC installer can help with upgrading the main module and touch panel.

Hi all, I have had ducted system's in this house for 19 years. the first one was ok. had a remote. The second the one I have now is a Fujitsu Great machine. BUT I had to get up and change everything by hand rooms temp fan speed, seemed no problem. THEN it was was so sick of me having to get up all the time, my wife is poorly. Got onto my air-conditioning guys H & H air here in Brisbane. They installed this new airtouch 4. I ALMOST CRIED it was so so good so good I would say to anyone considering an aircon or have one this unit is the way to go. Wish I had it years ago. Any one here in Brisbane is welcome to see it in my house. I can change settings from my phone even when I am away my wife can on her phone as well. We can set timers amount of air to each room and temperature. I think I will find out more about individual sensors . Just DO IT Ron B Cole nobody asked me for this comment I did it because its so damn good .

We have the Airtouch 3 installed. In the program mode, I have set up the unit to turn on/off at a certain time eg: ON Timer 1 - 2pm OFF Timer 1 - 4pm Monday to Sunday. 3 Groups selected When it was time ie: 2pm, the unit did not turn on for all selected groups but at 4pm, I noticed the groups selected for the program were at their "off" settings. Why is this?

Hi, under the "Assignment" Settings for your programs, is there a program assigned to those particular groups? You may have two different programs running.If you need help, give us a call on 1300 980 656 or [email protected]

@@airtouchsmarthome Yes, each of the 3 selected groups has a program (#1) assigned. One thing I did noticed though in the "Assignment" setting page, there's an additional group called "UNIT" ie: the name of the A/C. This "UNIT" group is only found in the Assignment setting page. I tried selecting this earlier together with the other 3 groups and seem to work. Not sure why this "UNIT" group appears in this Assignment page and not any where else?
